G'day, just signed up as a new member and am looking for some sound advice on some Alloys. Will be getting my new XR6T Ute at the end of this month and would prefer some Black or Dark Alloys. The car colour is Edge (the old Ego) and was thinking maybe Dark Argents. Anyone got any suggestions &/or photos?

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated......

Dark argents are everywhere, had a look at the 19" Twistys off the F6s?

I did have a look at these, but wanted a black or dark wheel. They are a bloody nice wheel though....

A few points to bear in mind.

If you are going to mod you might want something a bit wider than an 8" rear. You can only put 245s on them & when you up the kW they struggle to put the power down. I've got 19x10 on the back of mine so I can fit 295s. Also try & have Brembo brake clearance if you are going to go down that path.

If you're not going to do anything too serious to the engine then dark argents always look good.

Thanks fellas, just spoke to a wheel supplier in Victoria earlier today (super tyre & auto).....says he can make me some black matt argents in 19" for $285/wheel or $460/wheel/tyre........Think I'll go with him. I like the idea of Matt Black. What you think?????
