They are definatley PBRs as I had the rotors and calipers off last weekend. As for being 2s, if you mean 2 pistons or 2 pot, yes they are.

They are great everyday brakes, certainly better than the NA, which I had 3 warped discs on. But try pulling it up from 140+ and it just doesnt like stopping.

Yes I know, shouldnt be driving that fast. If you have a T I doubt youve never done it.

But they are far superior than the brakes we used to have on the VK/VH/VL commodores I used to drive when I was working the highways in the 80s.

If your rears are solid then they are the 303mm ones,what type of pads do you have on the front?

Ive got the same brakes and mine stops very well from 140+

I have PBR2 imprinted on the white'ish sprayed Calipers on my 11/07 Built BF MarkII XR6T.

Were they standard ?

trancemaasta, post a pic of your brakes. All standard issue Falcon brakes are just silver/alloy in appearance. The BA Premiums for the front were either Black with a Ford logo, Red with a PBR logo or Blue with an FPV logo. Your brakes may have been changed before you bought it, or someone has prettied up the standard brakes with paint.

I have BF Mark II xr6t have the 322mm vented rotors on front and 328mm vented on rear...the calipers are pbr2...

That's what I have - my mates still just about throw up when I stop though, and that ws before the DBA4000's went on the fronts.

Be glad you didn't get a BA with the original brakes! I hear they are much worse.

Stopping once there'd be no difference, you have the exact same rear brakes as a BA along with the same front calipers. The only difference is they mount to a larger rotor (322 vs 298) so will take more heat before fade.
