Has anyone fitted one of those eBay kits to there fg if so how did you mount it and so on cheers

I bought one last week and I might start sizing it up today, because of the big cooler in the front pretty sure I will have to modify or make my own brackets

I got the bolt on one from Furious Performance for my BF Rebel. It took the mechanic 1.75 hours to fit, including doing a trans flush. They also have a bolt on kit for the BA.

They aren't bolt on for the turbo's due to the intercooler being in the way, that's what they told me anyway. Will need custom brackets made, possibly locate it behind a fog light.

Those that used the Furious Performance kit,

When mounting behind the drivers fog light, did the kit come with enough hose?

And was it just normal transmission hose, nothing fancy?

Thinking might just get the adapters off of him and source my own core and hose, as I don't want to just join the coolant lines together, but use the BA turbo

coolant pipe instead so I can get rid of the lines all together. Probably wouldn't use his brackets either.

yes 3mtrs supplied and yes just normal tranny hose and yes brackets useless on anything but xt model but otherwise good kit

I brought the zf line fittings and made the rest myself mounted behind the passenger side fog light.

I got the wrong size transcooler have the bigger one on there now this is a pic of the smaller one..

where the original heat exchanger was mounted and original oil lines join the braided lines.

I mounted my furious trans cooler in front of my Rapid cooler...had to trim a bit off the front bar but wanted good air flow...not going to make much noticeable different to Rapid cooler efficiency..may loose 2rwkw but no biggy
