I've ordered my Turbo with SSS.I've always had manual cars but the SSS is just wonderfully smooth.Even if the SSS is fractionally slower (and I mean fractionally) it still eats Holdens (manual or auto) alive - as well as just about everything else.

I would rarely have the car in drive so why pay the extra? yeah I agree, I'm not going to pay almost a grand to go slower.....and sorry but the auto is slower, I don't care what any of you say, when mines delivered I'll drag any of the autos on this forum and I guarantee I will win...also the auto in the Ba is a bit different to the au, it has a slighty lower 1st gear - BA = 2.50, AU = 2.39 (crap all difference)....it's simple, you're either an auto man or manual man.....and neither with be convinced otherwise Dave.
Guest JCV8 Guests Posted 05/02/03 01:19 PM Posted 05/02/03 01:19 PM Dave, I think there's proof on this particular thread that your last statement is untrue. See Cam's post. And I wouldn't go around boasting that you'll drag anyone off! There is always a bigger, badder, better car waiting! I'll give anything a go - hell, I'll even take on your BA XR6 Turbo. Do I expect to win, of course - cause I've got a V8 (AU). Will I win, probably not. But then in the not too distant future, an auto V8 will blow you away!

Guest lorosute Guests Posted 06/02/03 03:33 AM Posted 06/02/03 03:33 AM But the XR6 Turbo dosen't come with a blow off valve standard. They only come with the wastegate on the turbo.
