I should have clarified, they generally give the worst life advice.

Like, buy a brand new car, buy multiple homes, get credit cards and enjoy your life etc and so on.

You just jumped the gun and assumed what I was saying.

I earned 5.15 a hour when I did my apprenticeship. But were not talking about people doing apprenticeship or traineeships

I got some advice for everyone.  Working for a living won't get you rich.

of course we're talking about those people doing traineeships etc, as she just said:

"gone from" is any starting wage, whatever your role/position is.

Buying property doesn't have to tie you down. My younger brother bought a 2 bed unit when he was 18 after busting his ass as an apprentice chef while still completing high school.

He lived there for a quite a while, working locally, then decided to travel the world with his gf. He rented his unit out, it paid for itself and he worked and traveled around for about 3 years before coming home.

The only thing that has ever kept me in one place has been my kids and their education etc.

have listened to a bit of Tony Robbins stuff... he's kinda interesting, but am far more interested in Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuck, Roberty Kiyosaki and even Steve Harvey. To be honest after my marriage failed I started to try to turn my life around and get focused. It's more in the last year that I've become lazy again and obsessed with cars in non-productive ways. I need to find a way to turn my passion for cars into a business/income first, then worry about the other stuff later

For a living thesaurus/dictionary you can't read.

Earning $6 a hour doesn't imply you started a apprenticeship or traineeship.
