Here is a Thursday topic;

 

Do you build your motor first and then do bolt ons or,

 

do you bolt on everything first and then build your motor?

obviously depends on budget...

How do ya figure?

if you have the spare cash lying around, you build the motor then buy bolt ons. If you have the shorter budget, you'll put bolt-on's on, blow the motor, then decide if building it is worth saving for or if you take the other roads completely (part-out, sell-up, etc).

Only if you're a freaking maniac. It's possible to not max out your bolt ons while you wait for a motor to be built.

haha that's true... but you've already got the bolt-on's on at that point, so the budget was already smaller...  unless you're saying you've "Paid for a motor, but you're too impatient", when in that case, the answer is obvious, you wait until you get the motor installed or you're just risking showing rodney the door...

nah you gotta fit the biggest bolt ons possible, does a chick goto the doctor to get a small boob job? nah they go get double F or whatever the biggest bolt ons are
