I also got one of these because if you've ever tried putting cage nuts into a cage, you would have slipped once or twice and those things getting under your nail hurt like a f*cking S.O.B.

HAHAHAHHA the difference between an IT professional and a telecommunications cabler right here....then again I was mostly putting new cage nuts in for new equipment, pulling them out and moving them would be a pain.

I also flush cut my cable ties and most of the time use velcro anyway hahaha!

and p.s. 4cabling isn't bad, not much more expensive than my wholesalers actually. ....except a box of cat6 is $50+ too expensive LOL

I just use a flathead screwdriver for removing my nuts.

You can quote me on that!

All my cabling is velcroed, my last work was an outsourcer so I got so much free stuff from the Engineers. I must be a snob though as it's all the really good APC & Cisco stuff, none of this cut it to length yourself stuff

I just found out you can get the strips on the roof colour coded. I only found out because one of the other worker bee's has bought a Commondore through a panel beater friend & is currently waiting for the last bit of work, which is the strip colour coding. It will be interesting to see how well it comes out.
