Personaly, Tokyo would be my choice. I've been very fortunate with travelling, including living in Amsterdam for a year, and seen a lot of amazing places.

If I was single, it would be in Norway.

I've come across a lot of people who don't show respect to others due to their perception of social status, ie. their earnings. It's a broad generalisation, but it's something I've noticed.

I think if you look hard enough you'll find that most anywhere. In my experience this occurs most in Affluent areas where the jones's are trying to keep up with the smith's

 

Go spend an arvo in Subi and you'll see what I mean.

Agree that Tokyo is a stark contrast with regards to respect and manners. Very clean and pleasant place.
