Yeah not real sure of the area but it was a sweet joint, a lot of wasted space in the design though. I reckon I'll stop over on the way back too.

Might duck to Warwick tomorrow and have a party in toowoomba tomorrow night but drop me a line if ya get bored over the weekend

Its BS down here that its not compulsory..

I think you've missed the point. Here the CTP is provided by an insurer, the govt still sets the rates and it's paid in conjunction with our rego. Yours is included in the rego, called a TAC fee or something isn't it? Same sh*t...different smell. Still provides no cover for damage to your vehicle though.

correct tab

from the vic roads web site

A Transport Accident charge is included in your annual registration renewal fee on each vehicle you own. These charges are used to pay for treatment and support services for people injured in transport accidents.

The Transport Accident Commission provides personal injury insurance, it does not cover any property damage.

No I'm talking about cover for the cars that the morons hit or wipe out. Its unfortunate when these things happen (kv's mates incident) even more when the kunts don't have insurance to cover the other driver. Idc if your on the dole or whatever..if you can afford the car you can afford the 3rd party at least.

My opinion anyway lol

Our transport accident charge is only that. What freaky said. No property damage. Its not like ctp up there which is exactly that..compulsory third party which covers the other persons car if you're at fault..but not your own of course.

Which is why I say it should be the same here. Can't rego a car without proof of bomb insurance at the least..so then if you're hit, you know you're car will be covered. Peace of mind at least..
