I gave this a bash last night. book the battery out because I have big hands. did not take long have it a hit with WD40 gave it some time. went out was a bit better. then smacked it and must of blown the crap out because after that it just hammered. more response was great fun I wish I had more fuel lol. if u have not done this you should.

I just finished doing this.

It wasn't very hard at all. I wasn't too sure on how much WD40 I should actually put in. I didn't want to over do it.

Took it for a quick spin but didn't really notice anything major. I will take it for a longer drive tomorrow.

hi fellows just tried the boost solenoid clean it did make a little bit of a diff but not as much as I was expecting maybe I didnt spray enough wd40 how much did u guys use how long did u spray a couple of seconds or a couple of minutes.

also if any one is having trouble getting the hose that runs from the solenoid to under the turbo to stay on just use a small cable tie does the trick

Adam,

This job is not designed to increase power, only restore lost power.

The main noticable difference is the boost comes on quicker, it does not increase the boost.

I need to do it to my car again as the boost feels lazy or laggy.

You only need to spray for 2 seconds as you want to lubricate, not flood the solinoid.

Hope this helps.
