G'tech Xr6 Turbo 423rwkw That Will Run A 9

Has anyone seen this months Performance Ford Magazine?

There is a Blueprint BA XR6T that's running quite a few mods and 423rwkw on a "soft tune"

Mitch Mijatovic owns it - is he a member?

They reckon it will run a 9.9 on a stronger tune.

I bought the mag for a good read.

A very impressive car, and a huge amount of work under the bonnet.

Huge Garrett GT51R turbo, Nizpro plenum, APS IC, extractors, strong internals.

Ford C10 auto rebuilt by Preston auto might interest quite a few guys on this forum.

It says that the car will be fitted with tubs to accomodate 12 inch slick, plus ladder bars.

They are also building a new motor to get 1000rwhp .... so money is no object, plus his brother owns G-Tech Performance.

Good luck to Mitch .... he is definitely very serious about running 9's.

Good luck to the guys from G-Tech.

As everyone already knows, high power figures dont always equate to fast 1/4 times. Car setup is also important.

Quite a few people have aimed for 9's yet it hs only been achieved once. This show how hard it actually is.

9's take alot of time, effort and money with plenty of perserverance. Hoepefully G-Tech have all these and their able to achieve their goals.

Mitch's car is still in full street trim and is still driven on the streets, I cant wait to see what it does on the strip, its defiantely a weapon and with the experience of Mitch and Damien the owner of GTECH I am sure they will be able to put together a great set up for the strip.

I am definately not going to try and keep up with his mods but GTECH have done a great job on my car which is now pulling 338.9rwkw with further mods to come such as even bigger injectors and it is still running a unichip. Damn good tuner in Damien there at GTECH, and always coming up with new ideas for both Mitch's and our car, A higly recommended tuning and upgrade business!!!!

Yes, a member but only 1 post..

There's plenty of cars that 'Will run a 9' because they have the power, but don't.

This is not knocking the owner or tuner, but several cars has tried with power and all come unstuck.

The C10 is a step in the right direction though..

I hope this car is different to the others, as it seems very nicely presented and alot of work has gone into it..

XITMNT if its blue I was running him last friday night quick car but not 9 sec'c worth, if that's the car?.He was droping mad coolers aswell and eating every car on the road.
