Was dirt cheap for Phil to straighten them, but it was about 3 years ago now. At the time Phil told me he did heaps of Ford Ute shafts and unless going custom rear there was no alternative. One thing I remember after getting them done was how much quieter and smoother the ride was when cruising on freeway.

Do it mate you know you want too!! haha my tailshaft was $1600 for a thicker chomoly tubed shaft with oversize unis and oversize centre bearing... And new rear CV joint.. Fitted balanced... And a free sticker

Serious question though.Not sure what the process is but I would guess a lot of heat and knowing where to apply pressure to true the shafts to as close to new as possible. Still was about a 1/5 of the price of buying replacement OEM shaft from Fraud :O...........speaking about shafts. When to WAW last night for a look and spotted a black FG F6 stall up at the tree followed by a massive bang. Judging by the brown/rusty stain left behind I am guessing tail-shaft related.
