  1. Thanks for great night. Had to bail before end, but was good to talk cars. Cheers
  2. Finally got my rims back today, fitted back on the T and shes looking good. So ready for a cruise. A Sunday midday cruise sounds cool.
  3. every time a Late model camira is rolled out of the factory a angel loses its wings....
  4. If anyone is looking to use car transport, let me know, see if I can get you a better price. Especially inside of WA I can sort out best deal (Patricks WA Ops Planner)
  5. 95% of vehicles that come over from east is only by rail, either open wagon (what you mention above issues) or by autotainer rail. The main players have the option of autotainer which is a safest and secure way to travel across ( I would rather autotainer then truck or ship) Booking by autotainer can be requested but not always guaranteed. Moving cars for example for state yes they will get it transported by autotainer and charge you a levi... but when they onforward the work to the main players (Patricks/Prixcar (former toll) possibly Ceva) its all up to the main carrier to chose autotainer method. No extra costs are actually involved in using autotainer, its actually cheaper for the company to use. Next second hand purchase I will be looking nationally for the best deal. Most times you can fly on the weekend inspect car etc and use a transport company, fly home and still come out saving money then buying in WA from the beggining. FYI: Depot to Depot is alot cheaper if you can organise to collect from the depot yourself. Home delivery or pickup adds anywhere from $50-$100 to the price at each end.
  6. Lol was that truck pulled over by cops also? He is way over length on that, I would kick my drivers ass if I caught them loaded like that.
  7. Looks like my battery is dead, its the oddessey that came with the Nizpro kit, which was fitted quite a few years ago. Not bad going from some of the reviews I have heard on this batteries. So the main question is, what should I replace it with. Would I have much hope fitting a Optima D34 in the nizpro battery cradle, or should I go with a Fullriver replacement which I have read about. Suggestions?
  8. Dont know if people have seen this, but E85 in Perth.... just gotta wait until more servos actually carry it.
  9. if im free ill come down to looksie/help. Always love tinkering on cars. Oil line replace easy just need a deep 24mm socket some extensions and possibly a spanner to hold nuts from moving. Doin from top easy, well was with a aftermarket plenum. I can bring my sole 24 deep socket and spanner I brought for the one job, if it can help someone else change there it be worth it lol
  10. Yeh the orignal filter you couldnt see through. Im glad I finally got to it, before it really cost me and when it was so easy to change aswell
  11. the earls line took me about 1.5-2 hours, that including me standing there with a flash light looking at which way to attack it like a dazed deer in headlights........
  12. So I finally got off my arse and changed over the turbo line filter today. Was no where near as hard as I thought, had to think outside the square though and used rope to pull on the ratchet in the tight spots. One thing though the earls lines were quite long hard to get it to seat neat. OLD NEW
  13. not black wheels, gun metal......
  14. Still no time posted? Or did I miss it
