unfortunately....ive seen this story many times. No insurance, a mate riding off another mates car....

guy who crashed car, will not pay a cent, and there will be sh*t fights, and a fall out.

no offense, but if your mate is spending 'alot of coin' on his car and has no insurance....AND gives it to a mate who doesnt know the car to thrash around on the hwy on a fri night....receipy for disaster.

Who the hell lends their car to a mate to thrash around and not have insurance on a car you drop 20k+ on? common....the mate should of refused to drive it in the first place knowing this outcome was a possibility.

But yes I do feel sad for both parties and especially the car....but in the end, the above scenario is the most common scenario ;(

Been there before, good way to end a friendship. I was passenger in my own car (5 speed T) and my mate tried to throwing it round a corner, next minute im up against some poor guys car and a tree.

kvbaby....never happened to me. I just know of 3 separate cases, and ALL Stories have happened as I described. I hope for your and their sake, they can resolve it and keep their friendship.

Yeah I understand where your coming from *Beep* but sh*t happens sometimes and you cant rewind time. If you met the blokes you would understand more what I mean. Either way its not a nice thing to come between mates especially if someone cut you off and sh*t happened like it did. 15 mins before,I was commenting on how tidy the car was and how pedantict he was.

Lets just hope it never happens to any of us ay,as if it does,we will look like retards for everyone to judge. Just remember it can happen to anyone at anytime. May it be a balljoint failing or a tyre blowing out....it can happen.Either your fault or someone elses and someone will always make it sound totally different to what it really was. Hope to never see any of the members off here in bad shape.

PS the car wasnt being thrashed about as they just finished fixing an oil leak and just had it out for a drive. Just because your out on the Prin on a Friday night doesnt mean your out to thrash your car.
