Gary,  as you know for yourself the cruise down to Wilsons Prom was a great cruise last year! lets see if we can do this again some time early next year. Great time for it with blue skies, warm weather ... others can go for a swim while the rest play a game of beach cricket!

Sorry about that. Yep, would like to Wilsons Prom again in the New Year.

Jumping back a couple of months. Is anyone heading down to Phillip Island next weekend for the V8's? I was supposed to be going to the race but the free ticket deal fell through and my wife has better ideas (ie: xmas shopping ).

It would be nice to put faces to forum name/cars if anyone is heading down.

I tried to book accomodation a long time ago and it was all already booked. The closest I could find was Kincunda!

Bugger! Oh, and it's Kilcunda .

It's not too far from the Island though and has great ocean views. Best thing is you'll be travelling against the main flow of traffic on race days until you get to the Island.

Perhaps next year I'll rent out some rooms. I'm only 10 mins drive from the track

Well today I got a phone call from a place I talked to back in October and they've had some cancellations. So now I'm 5 mins from the track! Woohoo!

Quite a few XR's down already. The NSW contingent started showing up yesterday. And today some of the grid girls were in at work . Haven't seen any drivers yet though..

It was called Phillip Island Resort, but from what I was told they changed their name to The Islander Resort.
