Sun Mar 18 - Otways Cruise

Hi Guys,

Sorry for my tardiness in getting the Wilsons Prom cruise details up. Will have them up sometime next week. Suggested date for the Wilons Prom cruise is still Sun Feb 18 so I hope you can keep that date free if you're thinking of coming along. I think someone suggested a road between Korumburra and Wonthaggi as a good road to go along so I'm considering incorporating that in somehow into the cruise. If you're keen, I'm also considering do a short walk at the Prom itself, maybe the Loo Ern Track or Lilly Pilly Gully. Any other suggestions, guys?

Hi Guys,

We've decided to run the Otways Cruise on Sunday 18 February 2007 now. Which means we have to choose a new date for the Wilsons Prom cruise.

Here's the link to the Otways Cruise if you are interested in coming along with us. We are a friendly bunch (from what I've personally experienced) and it's a great chance to share the experience of rumbling in a line of XRs down the Great Ocean Road

Hi Guys,

Just wondering about our next cruise after the Otways Cruise and I was thinking something a bit closer to home. I quite enjoyed the Yarra Ranges cruise last year (Healesville - Black Spur - Marysville - Lake Mountain - Warbuton). From memory that was quite twisty in parts and beautiful temperate rainforest scenery in some sections.

Would anybody be interested in doing that again?

I was thinking Sunday 1 April 2007 for it (that date avoids the V8 Supercars). Would that date be okay?

That date also coincides when Feann Torr motoring journalist from www.webwombat.com.au may be able to join us.

I last visited the Lake Mountain to Warburton section in November last year and and VicRoads were resurfacing some of the road at the time. I'll check to see if they've finished it or will have it finished in time.

Anyway, let us know!
