turb06 Dark Knight Mafia Member No. - 666 Member 3,667 Member For: 23y 7m 1d Location: Toowoomba Posted 26/07/04 12:32 PM Posted 26/07/04 12:32 PM Car was dyno'd today to get a power reading a) before mods start b) to see if my paper mishap has caused deeper problems.I have read some threads about dynoing but am after some expert opinions, my car only managed 165rwkw, this is down but the big ass fan they place infront of the car wasnt working so it wasnt used. Now this will effect the power produced as the intercooler is basically rendered useless and charged air would have been hotter than normal, the car had also been drivin for about an hour in town before the dynoing took place. What I am wanting to know would taking the above into consideration rob the car of approx. 20rwkw or would it not have that much affect on the overall power figure produced at the wheels, I was going to take it elsewhere but ran out of time so thought I would post here first.

How many km did u have on your car?Mine revealed 174rwkW at 5000km when the temp was probably around 10C.

Mine had 3,000km on the clock and is a manual.

Mine has shown from 175 to 193 when it was stock, auto. Brisbane summer temps both times.Scotty
