  1. Have you had it on the dyno yet? Before? after?
  2. Even better... check this out syoBXsYBFvs
  3. E65 AMG... Awsome machine..
  4. Definatly get the injectors.. Which ones? I reckon go the siemans, they are good for 250rwkw up to 400+rwkw.. Heaps of people are using them with great results.. Also a 2nd CAI is one of the first mods people do to the T, so I'd do that aswell before the tune.. Good luck for friday, dont forget to post up a dyno sheet.. Mike...
  5. Will do, just dont want the cat holding me back... And cant wait for the money to buy one hehehe... All in due time...
  6. Ohhh not another one... dont do it...
  7. Hey Rob... Do your wheels spin anywhere between 1800-2200 rpm?? Mine starts to spin anywhere above 2000 rpm... Your tyres are probably better than mine (I have cheapies on) but you also have alot more power than me... By what you describe im asuming they dont.. I dont think I've ever looked at my boost guage when stalling up so I dunno if im leaving on boost... Then again I dont race much.. Adam said its the tune... but wasnt the wog known for aggressive tunes?? So basically I dont have a clue hehehe.... I'm sure someone will.. Cheers Mike..
  8. Ok sounds like a good idea... Now im a bit confused as to what the difference is between a punched and gutted cat are... Are they the same thing? Also what affect will this have on exhaust note? I think I'll have the stock ba dump and 'modded' cat on for the tune.. and buy a proper cat to fit onto the bf dump later on... The more I do the longer I have to wait for the tune and its killin me.
  9. HAHA just got 497m.... It helps if ya got a cordless mouse me thinks.... Best game I've played in weeks hahaha
  10. A mate reckons 2m is a good length...
  11. Hmmm theres another option.... I like your work.. Then if I get into any troubles from u know who... I can just unbolt the bf gear and bolt my ba gear back on...
  12. I only got the BF dump cause its cheap, and it flows a lil better than the BA.. After the bf dump and modded cat go in I dont really wanna touch the exhaust, maybe hot dogs for sound.. Was just after the best flow for littlest $$ If the BF dump and BA cat are a pain, than the exhaust man can deal with it, afterall its my money LOL
  13. I might invest in a better cat than.... So judging by what you've said there is not much difference in getting a 3" cat when putting on a BF dump correct?
  14. Will they do the cat seperate?
  15. Yeah I'll stick with my wog cooler and just know that its sh*t.... LOL
  16. I've decided on a B&M trans cooler... A mate recommended Speed Parts in Narre warren/Hallam.. The guy I spoke to in the shop has a BA xr8 ute. Hes running 4.11 gears and a 4000 stall and he says that his tranny never misses a beat with that cooler, he says he gives his ute a good thrashing... He has it mounted infront of his radiator, but I looked at the V8 PWR cooler at Repco and the B&M is almost twice as thick, so I can rule out putting it between the icooler and radiator, so im gonna mount it infront of the front wheel like most have.. As it doesnt come with anything other than the cooler itself, all I need to know is how much piping do I need? Im gonna make up some brackets etc.. myself... Mike....
  17. I've got a BF dump and a spare BA cat that im gonna 'modify', and add flanges and the rest... What do you guys think about this setup? Is it gonna be hard to attach the BA cat onto the BF dump? IH8TOADS, do you know whats involved in fitting the BF dump on a BA? Just bolt on??
  18. Hmmm never thought of overcooling... I am however gonna do some sort of ducting to maximise flow to the cooler....
  19. LOL your a funny c*nt greeny.... I'd probably do the same thing... The 2 guys should have listened to the cops in the first place, that's for sure, but from what I've read the spray should have been after sone sort of physical threat.. Self defence...
  20. Its wierd I think he said 120 for medium and 125 for the large? Mind you I was yelling at him through my passenger side window as they were closing up...I'll confirm tomorrow, and I'll ask about this heavy duty one aswell... I think the 'large' one he quoted me for is the v8 one...
  21. Standard BF dump is 3" and the group buy one is 4" i think you can come to your own conclusions on the benifits.... I though that 4" dumps are too big and laggy if not having 350+rwkw and that 3.5" dumps are best at below that rwkws... I think most people are under 350+rwkw and would be better off getting a 3.5"
  22. HEHE Like the last cruise ey greeny?
  23. Thanks for the advice hanra... I think I'll print everything if I am to attemp it myself hehe too much info... I popped into Repco, as they were closing and I was talking to the guy and they only had the medium pwr tranny cooler in stock but could get the large one by lunch tomorrow... I checked on the pwr website and it says they have 4 sizes... Im assuming small, medium, large and ........ I think I read somewhere that there is a heavy duty one which is bigger again... can anyone confirm?? Ohh yeah it was $125... Cheers Mike
  24. Well its bigger.. and being bigger flows better... Its obviously not as good as an aftermarket dump but it makes for a CHEAP exhaust upgrade if you have a BA... Im not planing on massive power, because of my trans and engine internals for now, so when I do I'll invest in a whole Xforce system or the like...
  25. I was in Yarraville a while ago for a mates birthday, that place rocks, the people are so friendly, but damn its stinking hot there... The train ride from Melb was pretty good in first class
