  1. The manufacturers of these bars used to be the australian agent for Caltracs and these appear to be very similar. To use these bars correctly you must have the correct spring rate and correct shock absorber for them to operate as designed. Visit Caltracs website and look at some of the pics of cars using them in the states, small slicks and huge launches!
  2. the specs on that site do not work correctly, even when modified to match our cars, several of us have tried them in the past and although the idle appeared ok with no test equipment, testing them would find the changes you mentioned.
  3. if you are referring to the bolts in the turbo exhaust cover, they have a habit of cracking the cover where the bolt holes are drilled, if cracked there is not enough tension to keep the bolts tight for any length of time and they will come out
  4. no worries mate, glad we could help
  5. The Abvance 4" dump appears to work quite well and if the seller has it at a good price, that's an added bonus. but just a warning to what can happen when going to unknown brands based on what a seller may tell you read about 1 of my customers problems
  6. Should have also mentioned we can sell and fit you a full 4" Nizpro system.
  7. Before dealing with the above named shop, talk to Auscraft about his dealings
  8. Without at least 1 good one to keep it located, we have seen crossovers move out of the retaining ring on the throttle body and loose boost
  9. I'll assume you mean the cross over and then yes it is common for them to break or be broken, they are available from ford for maybe $10-15 each and if you have an end missing you will need the nut as well. Good luck trying to explain to the parts person what you want, It took me a five calls the first time we ordered some.
  10. Herrods were made for his company by the OEM supplier, which is why they look OEM.
  11. the turbo area gets too hot for loctite to work.
  12. No way of telling until they attempt to unlock it
  13. With out checking the dyno, I think you are correct. They work well but fitment quality varies quite a bit
  14. the US product uses different firmware to ours and this can not be updated by tuners, basically the US versions are no good for our cars
  15. most cars with basic type mods and average boost levels will make max power at approx 5100-5200
  16. It looks very good. power is where you would expect it to be
  17. A good exhaust can help exhaust valve springs, if you have back pressure building up in the exhaust and the manifold, that pressure will be pushing against the back off the exhaust valve which is affectively dropping the seat pressure by the same amount as the back pressure.
  18. different suppliers may have different part numbers, but the walbro numbers are gss 340, gss341 and gss342, all pumps are the same just with different inlets and have the same flow rate.
  19. To stop all your worrying, just buy a surge tank and loom from Rapid Systems, sounds like it is the cure for your anxiety

  21. Long motor install by the book for a NA 6 in a ba is 14 hrs and book times can be a little hard to make sometimes.
  22. Not that the wife and I are saint supporters, but we wish him the best
