  4. Yeah I had Mythos on the BA, awesome tyre and very affordable. Toyo Proxy4 295x30x19 on the rear of the FG... they grip well, but pretty darn wide so they should lol $360 each from St George tyres... all other 295s were well over $500 each
  5. Get under it and see if the atuator rod has come off the wastegate arm... its held on with a circlip so might have just popped off, causing the wastegate to be open.
  6. I had my FG at the circuit last weekend and the ZF was great... unless your into kicking clutches mid corner the ZF does very well... kept up with the Jap manual cars

Yeah Hiddeous is right... you can pump up the boost with a MBC/EBC (even poke a hole in the lines if your a massive tightwad) but its a crappy way of doing it and loads of timing will be pulled out, dropping power down, and afr's leaning out if you give it too much boost. I'm not saying you cant do this, but always do it on a dyno or with a wideband O2 set up in the car.

  15. I run a JL 12in in a sealed box off the factory amp in the G6... once the EQ is sorted and looks like a big smile it all sounds really good. My mate wanted to watch a vid on his lap top a few weeks ago while heading down the freeway... I said plug it in to the AUX and crank it up... sounded awesome, shame I couldnt watch though lol

  20. Yeah that's the trade off... the stock turbo tuned well can be huge down low, which just wont happen on a low comp motor with a 42 unfortunately. The perfect combo wont come round on the first set-up though, If your seriously into it prepare to try some differnt combos, I like to start off big and work backwards, that way you can find your top end goal, and try to bring up the lower/mid range through exhaust housings/manifolds/piping/exhaust ect... and tuning, and tuning, and tuning
  21. The last GT45 I had anything to do with made 450wkws on 15psi... ETM mani and dump, my 4inch inch race exhaust & cooler, plaz plenum, atomic motor. I've experienced a few GT42 and GT45 combos now, both on my own cars and customers BA-BFs and they do work well. Carefull wastegate positioning has to be looked at to avoid laggy slow rising boost. Due to their very large turbines, lag can be very easy to end up with which isnt much fun on a motor that wont spin too high, so manifold and wastegate design is very important, as is exhaust flow... biggest is not always best.
  22. 295/30/19 Proxy4 They are on a 9.5inch rim, which really is a bit too narrow so theres alittle side wall flex, but straight line grip is great.
