I sold an S14 to buy my T (needed a family car). I know which was quicker and it wasn't the T. All 200sx's are bullet proof.
  11. Yep, My company car is a e-gas BF RTV, Ive put 33K km's on it in the last six months. Its been thrashed from day one and hasn't missed a beat (half my mornings begin with a drive up Macquarie Pass). By the way its always got a fair load on board. One of the older BA e-gas utes at work has a habit of stalling and backfiring that ford cant seem to fix but so far the BF has been immune.
  12. If I win powerball this week I'm gonna get one built just like it...... but fitted with a blown boss instead. How neat is that interior.
  13. Mate I recently completed some training with the Australian Corrosion Association. When the subject of electronic rust inhibitors marketed for cars the guru/expert who ran the course said they dont/cant work. Not trying to shot anyone down, just dont want to see people wasting money.
  14. Results Not real sure about boost levels
  15. I think the image that these cars project has alot to do with the colour. Black or white are fairly inconspicuous, go for something like citric acid but......
  16. Thanks for the links, I found this on one of them. "Q. Is the Event being televised? A. A 2 hour free to air special on the NINE Network, will be broadcast at 1.30pm on Sunday 22 April 2007 and replayed on FOX SPORTS, broadcast at 8pm on Wednesday 25 April 2007." Not much coverage, especially when it wont end 5:45pm. Hopefully there will be some good highlights on the news.
  17. What do you think will win, I've just read that the BMW's are expecting to see 280 - 290km/h down conrod.
  18. that's classic

  20. The TSB is in this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27144
  21. Have a search back through some of the old posts on handbrakes. I remeber someone posting up a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) about it....it was alot more complicated than just adjusting the cable. Hope this helps
  22. instro replied to phantom ute's topic in General Tech
I had to really give it a good tug with the pliers to get it to release. Best of luck.

Mine actually became unattached at the bonnet realise latch inside the car. I was able to get the bonnet open by using a pair of pliers to grab the end of the cable (inside the car)...... Haven't actually got around to fixing it yet though. It didn't initially feel like the cable had become unattached and I thought something must have been jammed. Might be worth having a look inside to confirm the cable is still attached.
