Mate, these things are usually flash tuned to change things like boost, timing fuelling etc, that is there usually isn't a boost controller or bleed setup. Best bet would be to throw on a boost gauge. Stock boost on a ba should be around 6 psi

Mines been going good for nearly 10.5 years, 7.5 years with a tune and covered 210k km, never been serviced, towed, raced occasionally.......mostly it did the school run lol.

Had a similar problem, it ended up being a couple of my coil packs had tiny cracks in them. Good luck getting it sorted.

It's a pain in the arse not being able to lock your car. I've had a similar problem on my BA after a fair bit of wet weather. I stuffed around pulling off door trims and mucking around with door actuators but eventually gave up and dropped it into ford. They ended up finding a problem with a loom connector in the passenger side kick panel.....they charged me bugger all for fixing it up even though they spent about four hours chasing down the fault. Just got mine fixed, that is a new cable assembly and fuse block assembly all supplied and fitted by ford....cost $245, took less than an hour.

Just read your other thread. Dont know what would be worse, the fact that someone took the cars or the fact they were in your kids house. Hopefully Karma will get them.

that's a bit close to home, thanks for the info. How are they starting the cars? Are they breaking in to get the keys?

Thanks senna T, I gave it a go but the locks didn't go up and down, aaarrrghh! (looked up the manual and you've got to hit a button on your keypad after hitting the reardemist 3 times). I'm guess the cars receiver for the remote isn't working.... feel free to keep your idea's coming.

My remotes have stopped working. They worked intermittently for a while and then stopped all together. I've changed the batteries but to no avail, so I'm guessing its got something to do with the car end of things.......anyone got any pointers?

Mate, I went from 211rwkw stock to 242rwkw (stock 4spd auto). What the numbers dont tell is how much stronger the car feels throughout the rev range, the increase to the area under the power curve was massive.

I'm pretty sure I'll take the title of the slowest car there tonight, might also take the title of the filthiest car if I can make it. I'll be stoked if I get a 13.

I've always been well looked after by pack and send. They make it easy as you can just rock up with your stuff and they take care of the rest, boxing/packaging etc.Saying that, work is always paying the bills therefor I've never compared their prices against anyone else.
