  1. I have the same problem mate, the revs bounce up and down between 500 and 1200rpm when slowing down and then usually level out once at rest. I originally thought it was the TPS so I had that changed which did help but the car still continues to do it, the only thing left which I can think of is that the valve springs are on their way out...... Ill keep a close eye on this thread Cheers
  2. They are a great system and work extremely well, just look at Daves figures! They are great for North Queensland where the temps are hot and fuel is sh*t. They also allow you to stretch a few things a bit further safely. I run one and recommend it highly. There was a big thread on this a little while back with quite a bit of info if you do a search.... Cheers
  3. I would organise this buy guys but im going to be out west for the next 8 weeks sorry....... But PLEASE someone do it! Cheers
  4. What a joke City Ford Rockdale is! I bought my car from there, second hand, with only 9000km on the clock. When it finally arrived in NQ it had no car jack, no tools, no lock nut key, no spair key, and my personal favourite no air cleaner! How exactly does this happen in the first place or pass a roadworthy inspection? When I rang them and asked about it they said they swap stuff from car to car all the time, and there was nothing they could do................. Absolutley useless
  5. Absolutely stunning! Cant wait to see one in the flesh....
  6. Im sure someone like Nizpro would be great but im located in North Queensland and have never dealth with the guys....... Anyone closer to home care to get things moving?
  7. Guys i would love a group buy on cats and possibly dumps, however i dont have access to a supplier otherwise i would be happy to organise it........ Anyone know someone who's in the biz and might be able to get this thing going? Cheers
  8. Vote 1 group buy on cats! Metal cat id say..... Cheers
  9. Yeah mate they can be a costly little phone, im tied to Telstra and they currently dont offer any deals apparently with the N95 apart from just paying it off on a monthly basis, so I had to buy the thing outright........ But I think they are definitely worth it! Great little phone with more features than you can poke a stick at! Cheers
  10. That is awesome! I want one....... Pity we paid close to $1g for ours
  11. Some not bad riding but Banshee's are such an over rated bike. They go, no doubt, but I have seen more broken bones and serious accidents on those bikes then anything else with 2 or 4 wheels. Plus my modded raptor eats them for breakfast!

The main feature of the T which attracted me to it originally was the ease of modification to the engine. And I cant see ford building a charge V6 which can boast the sort of credentials which the T holds. I mean if the new car does all the right things and still goes well I would definitely look at sticking with the blue oval. However, if we are talking about a car which has a minimal power increase over the T and is harder to modify........ Sorry guys I will be switching to the dark side for a sweet GM V8 note. Cheers
  13. I believe I paid around $750 for my kit, but I couldnt give you a link as I bought it off Dave directly.
  14. I also have the Snow Performance Water/Meth kit and I think its a great investment. Im sure Dave (Blueboost) will be along shortly to tell you how good they are..... They are great for NQ because, as already mentioned, they bring the temps down so much and virtually eliminate any chance of ping. The benefit I think is not so much in the power gain (although there is a bit there too), but more so in the peace of mind that the car is running safe. Also the water/meth allows your injectors and fuel pump to be stretched alot further. Its a very neat kit in your engine bay, not overly expensive and as stated methanol can be bought pretty cheaply in 20L drums which will last ages! Cheers
  15. HeadSex surely my payment has come through by now? I transferred it on thursday or friday....... Damn Commonwealth
  16. HeadSex what is the approximate wait/time of arrival on these sets? (Townsville, NQ) Just curious because im moving house in the next week or two, so i know which address to give you Cheers

  18. The NUT replied to Blonk's topic in Off-Topic
Yeah Blonk the consortium should be a good place to watch it, and it should be pretty good after the game too! Yeah mate I live in Riverside right next to the tavern, soon moving just down the road though...... GO QUUEEENNNSSSLLAAANNDDDDAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
  19. The NUT replied to Blonk's topic in Off-Topic
Ha ha Blonk, where you watching the footy at tonight? Looking forward to rubbing the NSW LOSS in! Cheers
  20. Dont know if it was that much, I thought it was around 500-550hp but dont quote me on that either! A mate saw it on the rollers at TMS and I believe he said it made ~410 rwkw (although that could have obviously been different in Ingham) Happy to be corrected Cheers
  21. I agree, its not about age it is about RESPECT Im 21 and have had a power/modding fetish since my early teens, be it on motorbikes, racing quads, cars etc. I grew up on a farm and I was fortunate enough to have a great deal of area to play around on in these vehicle and get a feeling and respect for these machines. I believe the problem arises when you get kids who have lived in the inner city all their life, never driven before, but as soon as they get their license they are able to jump in a 300kw whatever and let loose on the streets. So yes I do agree the high power levels can be a factor in our road tolls, but I believe much more that the biggest factor is respect and feeling comfortable behind the wheel, knowing the cars boundaries and limits etc. Without this, yes, I do agree that young blokes in high powered cars is a scary concept. I think one of the best things a person can do to improve their driving skills is to take their car for a thrashing on the skidpan, this way they get to feel the boundaries of the car and themselves in a safe controlled environment. Just my 2c Cheers Nut
  22. Ha ha Judd, lets just say that if all goes well it will DEFINITELY be a Dave special. All ill say is keep an eye out for a purple ute on the dyno, and if things fall into place for Dave and Mr X then there will be some BIG numbers!
  23. I believe it is getting tuned this weekend! Cant wait to see the numbers! (strip and dyno!)
