  1. Only reason I can see it is not for an XR6 is the rear muffler tip is shaped to suit the rear bumper of something like an XT that doesn't have the cutout for the chrome tip. I'm sure you could modify it to suit with the addition of a tip though.
  2. The answer to your question itself lies in binge drinking.... try drinking an absolute sh!tload then spinning around 360º and see if your face resembles its initial state...
  3. Maybe they were some of those "retrospective" policies that they came up with now, but really meant to come up with during the election, or only a few people in the know actually knew about them. I'd read that the Independents were going to block the alco-pop tax as well unless Labor could show evidence that it had curtailed teenage binge drinking, in the form of reports from ER Doctors saying less teens had been admitted to hospital with excessive drinking. Hey Rudd... good luck sunshine.
  4. Silver Toyota Aurion on Hale St near the Musgrave Rd exit this morning. I was in the middle lane and he was just behind me in the left lane. Sh!thead nearly took my side mirror off as he flew past and cut me off to chase down another car. I guess I shouldn't feel too sour as I was already doing around 70 myself.

    Club Songs

Probably wouldn't fall into the same musical genre as most of these, but The Ballad Of Chasey Lane - Bloodhound Gang was our anthem in the uni days
  6. A crude but effective way of doing it yourself is to take a stereo soundtrack, invert the right channel and play together as mono. It works because generally while the music is recorded as stereo, the vocals are generally matched on both channels. Inverting one channel then cancels out most of the vocals (while losing some music sound quality too) You can use a program like "Audacity" (it's a freebie) to open an mp3, split the 2 channels, invert the right channel, then play as mono again. Can also then export this new mp3. There are other additional tricks you can add to this technique to get it closer to original by applying filters and amplification etc, but that's probably a bit excessive if you don't know what you're doing exactly, plus you'd probably need something a bit better than Audacity to do it effectively (sonar might be one?) and you'd have to spend time mucking about with each song over and over to achieve it. This way isn't perfect, but reasonably effective for most stereo soundtracks, plus as has been said earlier there is no real way of doing it 100% without losing some quality (even using some hardcore DSP to do sound cancellation)

    Apple Fans

I agree with iTec about the whole people thinking micro$oft is evil. If Bill Gates and Microsoft is evil, then Steve Jobs and Apple is the Antichrist. The iPod is a perfect example of how they've manipulated the functionality of the software to suit their own agenda and not the user that actually buys the product. I wouldn't mind giving a Mac a go, but the majority of the software I use is specialized or proprietary stuff built for windows. As for Windows being virus/spyware laden as opposed to Mac OS, you don't go indiscriminately shagging everyone without a condom so why do the same without antivirus with windows. Mac OS on the other hand is like shagging a blowup doll. Eventually when more and more people start using the same blowup doll, one day someone nasty will want to have a crack at it and then you'll start finding things that shouldn't be there because everyone thinks it is totally safe and there's no need to ever take any precautions with it.
  8. Slowcoaches....
  9. Probably not this either, but have you got another keyboard you can try as well? I had something similar the other day with a brand new keyboard where it ended up having a sticky key (escape key was sticking/stuck). This resulted in not being able to drag items with mouse etc. Changed keyboard and voila.
  10. I too disagree that cyclists have as much right to use the roads as motorists for a couple of reasons, some of which have been pointed out. (1) Rego. Motorists have to pay for the privelige to drive on public roads, cyclists don't. (2) Insurance. Motorists have to pay TPI to drive on public roads, cyclists don't. (3) Licences. Motorists have to pass a licence exam and pay licence fees to drive on public roads, cyclists don't. (4) Safety Equipment. Registered vehicles have to have indicators, brake lights, headlights, mirrors etc, cyclists don't.
  11. Yeah, go bootlegging home brew beer and vino in town out the back of the uterus something like this Ute Esky
  12. Is it a ute? Is it an esky? No, its a UTE-SKI!
  13. Haha yeah. "This week on Today Tonight, how the antics of party kid Corey led to the Government increasing the tax on alcohol to curb spiralling underage mental retardation"
  14. It's things like this that make me so thankful for home brew Commercial beer taste at only 20% of the cost (and hangover)

    Badges On Cars

This made me laugh the other day. Crusty Commo with obligatory FOX sticker and "VR" written on back in what looked like liquid paper. Half the Late model camira badge letters were missing. Also saw a black SS ute with Chevy badges and a sedan spoiler on the back of the hardlid... WTF?!?
  16. Yeah, it makes it look like a radio controlled car... big aerials are so passe. Otherwise at least you picked the right colour stealth black FTW
  17. Seems relevant considering its a police car and all
  18. So you mean, using the solar power to power the ancillaries like the alternator to power the drive belt, to add power to the engine? Interesting... Although its starting to sound like a Falcon/Prius combination that way... Falus? Pricon?
  19. This is so true of advertising qRuNxHqwazs
  20. Lookin good glad to see you have better taste than your bf hehe
  21. I don't see why not. The new Rav 4 uses 200 killer wasps.
  22. Maybe he means that wire I've heard of that makes the butterfly valve in the throttle body flutter like butterfly wings to enduce more air flow into the cylinders. My guess is this works like the "butterfly effect" or the "chaos theory" in that a butterfly flapping its wings in South America can cause a tornado to appear in California. This could be behind the naming of the F6 Tornado too I assume.
  23. I thought that's what the handbrake handle was for... it doesn't really do much else...
  24. Yeah I prefer the badges on the skirts too, and prefer the bulge-less hard top, but the rest of the ute looks schmick!
