  1. Keep in mind that If it's setup as a twin feed rail you can't run one pump off a pressure switch so keep that in mind!! You would need to control both pumps simultaneously....if each pump has a separate feed line anyway!
  2. This cruise sounds like Bathurst....all about conserving fuel. The utes have a bigger tank so I reckon Ben might have this one!!
  3. Live tuning is awesome....if I had the tech skills to link the CAN bus into a Haltec Elite I would do it. There's a few things the ford system won't do that is frustrating. So I put a new pump in my $hitbox BA and took the check valve out. Car was then horrible on cold starts. Put a new rail / injectors / reg in yesterday as well as a check valve. Car starts good again. In short....I like check valves especially when dealing with e85.
  4. 45T-XR's account is the best I've heard. He definitely wasn't getting more timing so it's pretty cool to hear what the water/meth did. In warmer climates I'd definitely be considering it!
  5. 8.5 and +35 front is well inside the guard
  6. 8.5 and +35 front is well inside the guard
  7. P0236 is the t-MAP pegging. P0238 is the boost pressure sensor pegging. You can disable them easily for big boost cars, but I wouldn't touch them if you are operating within the limits of the sensors. Did this get sorted?
  8. Yeah I remember looking at the Earls compression fittings at the time. The ones I was looking at were only rated to 50psi or something....right on the cusp!!! But I reckon they would be fine anyway, quite a few people use them on other vehicles. Post the pressure rating if you can find one, these maybe rated higher ?
  9. You would have had adaptive learning off I bet Trana. With it on and a 1.25 max correction you would have otherwise forced open loop rather quickly.
  10. Personally I don't disable P0236/8 unless I have to as they're there for a reason. Its an FG running 304 kw's and obviously on the small turbo. To me this sounds like its tuned in open loop with the over boost thresholds / P1227 disabled and was probably tuned for 'X' boost on the dyno but with a bit more street load OP is seeing 'Y' boost and thus triggering the codes. If the tuner had disabled the codes, OP would not know they're over-boosting. Sounds like the OP went for a fang when it was cold and probably was getting into higher gears and thus seeing more boost. Tune just needs a little more work IMO, no biggie.
  11. You mentioned a 10.5 front and 10 rear, this right? What offset you reckon you'll need with a 10.5? You'll just have a bit of poke that's all.
  12. Never even realised my name was on the board from a run I did 6 years ago haha. That was a 12.22 @ 116 mph with 308 rwkw. Youngy also did a 11.7 which was the quickest manual at the time.
  13. When I bought mine new, it was cheaper to insure a new one compared to a second hand...due to the number of claims against them.
  14. ?. Is it in your name!! Once modified you're fisted though!
  15. Yeah I turned off just before Scarborough on the last cruise and the one before that I was a passenger in Mummba's. I do enjoy the cruises and wish I could get out on them more.....I have some fond memories of the old cruises with F6_UTE and youngy being absolute hoons lol. Good times! I would love to get into an F-series but I've spent so much time on the car and I drives so god damn good that I can't bring myself to part with it ?
  16. Veva, what's the compressor and exhaust turbine specs / sizing. 32psi is certainly puffing!! Was told 0.84....but probably meant 0.82!. Interesting MA19CK, will have to read into that a bit more :-)
  17. With a 285 on a 10.5" rear you would want to keep the offset at 35 or higher I would think! Even at +35 you would have 32mm less inner clearance and the rim would protrude from the guard very slightly.
  18. Veva...the one I'm referring to has a 0.84 not 1.06. 35+psi at redline on a 4.0 L. I'm sceptical.
  19. Heard a 131 mph / 10.88 and 134mph / 10.6X. But not huge boost. Mummba ran his manual F6 on street tyres (Invo's) with about 20psi but couldn't keep any power on the track....was a waste of time. They're one of the (if not the) best mid framed turbos available for our cars so I don't think you can go wrong really. Also another dude went 138/9 mph (10.2) with a T3 6466 and 0.84 rear. Hauling!!!
  20. Me personally, would sacrifice power for horny turbo noise. Making power is easy. Horny turbo noise...not so much.
  21. My GTX3582r is very quiet. Mummba's 6466 sounds much much better....you can hear the whistle. His is a 6BOOST hi mount whereas mine is a 6BOOST low mount, so the positioning makes a little difference also. Boosted1's HTA sounds nuts. That was Boosted1's 3794. Decent sized T3 framed turbs. I've also been in a GT3576r which sounded really good, but I'm pretty sure there would have been a major leak around the turbo intake based on how loud it was.
  22. Mummba is a bad influence.... Same colour as these Aaron. 3 month wait unfortunately, hope they make it in time for Powercruise.
