As mentioned, head up to Mount Canobolas aswell as Lake Canobolas.. its nice and relaxing. Head out to one of the vineyards (if you like wine). Theres an awsome vineyard called Bloodwood Estates, you can only go by appointment though to sample and buy their wines.. (Well worth it though!!) Send me a PM if you want more info on this place. I used to live in orange for 13years of my life.. My dad used to manage the Parkview Hotel and a few other places.. As for Roo's.. some people just have no idea... You wont see many of those if any at all.

when I was test driving the 6 speed, I had no problems changing gears nice and quick.. Could get a chirp from the treads changing from 1st to 2nd easily enough with Traction control on.. I dont think the car dealer guy was impressed..

You sure its not a demo model with 4k - 10k km's on it? Seems way to low to be making much if any profit on it. Especially if you arent paying Dealer delivery, statutory charges and rego..

If youre planning to modify the car then I dont think it will really matter whether they are holding back the power. BUT if they are, then its pretty damn crap that this is their 'solution'

Ive just come from driving an auto tiptronic for the past 2 years. (previously owned manuals) As has been said, if you do heavy traffic driving, then go the auto.. If you like spirited driving through lots of twisties then get the manual. I found when I was doing quite a few Great Ocean road and Black spur runs, the tiptronic would start to feel sluggish through high rpm gear changing from the tranmission heating up to much. I chose the manual as I want the wank factor of 6 gears and I enjoy twisties more than straight line..

Ive got a quote from RACV (Melbourne) for $972, no hire car or windscreen replacement though. $400 excess. + $450 for anyone under 25.. Im 26 with a rating 1 for life. The GT I got a quote for was $1290

The key to getting it written on your contracts is not to tell them you are 'upgrading' Tell them you are replacing the exhaust system as there was hole/dead catalyst etc etc.. They will then add the make and model of the exhaust/extractors
