Guys - my diff rebuild finished today, thanks to the guys at Haart Transmissions at Brendale. Opted for a factory Ford LSD and couldn't be happier with the result. No doubt about it - way, way improved over the diff in my BF2; backlash tollerances are spot on, absolutely no noise (let alone clunking) on roll on roll off, or at speed. Performance charactertistics of the car are changed completely - no issues powering out of corners; it does cross up a bit before intervention from software, but it's quite predictable. Wet weather next week so will let you know what happens after some judiscious gentle experimenting. If the dry is any indication, it will be perfect from the software perspective. Photographic series follows - cage in, cage out, rebuild, and then re-install. Will post more soon in a second post.

Ye ha. It's here. WHAT a cracking car. That is dead set a darn fine drive; and the brother in law with the 7 Series BM's comment was "they do not have a right to make something that good". LOL. I'm on the Team, Tab. These photo's are a bit weird - Mystic is a metallic green colour... and the camera's picking up blue. You'll get the idea, anyway... Drive time tomorrow.

PWI6012 is the direct replacement for the FG XR6T. You'll need to do some plastic panel cutting to fit the other one apparently.... but I believe it has been done. Let us know some approximate prices if you get that far, Rhino!!!

Well - good news. One of our wonderful forum members... who's been keeping an eye on the Mystic Missile, informs me that she's through trim and into final testing, and will be in QC tomorrow. Ye Ha!! To quote Tab - I'm as excited as an exciteable schoolgirl. In fact - I seem to remember a few of those..... I have polished the bowls, and will post a photo of them tomorrow.

Great pics Shock. And actually - the picture sort of opens some opportunity..... if you're seated the wrong way round in the back seat going really fast in reverse and have a prang - you won't get whiplash.

....even went out and tried it with mine tonight. Seems they have an angle specific to facing forward... and when you turn them around... they can get stuck. Any update Shock????

1/ Better volumetric through put per sq cm of area 2/ saves money as you just wash it out every couple of thousand k's.... no need to replace them. Great investment!

Notches are only on the inner of the L side from memory, and the shafts are obviously jammed with those not helping the matter on the other side as they are reversed. Sheesh. Lay the seat down and get in the back and give em a reef!!! Well..... a gentle reef.

Sometimes this is the only course of action - it's called "compulsory education". Pound fees = lets think twice about Spot cr@pping on all the lawns in the street!
