Hi guys, Now confirmed it was a stuff up, and ford will make good. I think I will stay with the fog lamp surrounds, but go with the silver botto grill. I always thougt it was the fog light surrounds that make it a bit overdone on the front. Andrew

OK, let's say it is a stuffup. Would you ask to have it changed, or stay with it?

Here it is. The foglight surrounds and grill are Ego colour. They weren't requested, but look pretty good.

Just got my new G6E Turbo. They must have caved in to public comment. The lower grill is black (or maybe ego) with a chrome surround. Looks better in my opinion. Andrew

Hmm... Just found out from the dealer that a September delivery was never likely. Apparently October orders closed on 14th August (I ordered mine monday last week. Anyone with influence to move mine up the list, let me know. Andrew

Hi Guys, Just ordered mine 2 days ago. The dealer said to expect a 6 week delivery time for manufacture. I have heard some commenrts around the traps that Ford got hit with the June rush, and orders a backed up serveral months. Anyone got any insight to this? I am cutting it a bit fine with the expiry of the lease on jmy current vehicle, and rego and tyres are due in October. Andrew

Nice car and colour. I went to 3 Melbourne dealers today, and didn't see that colour anywhere. Well, after much procrastination I ordered a G6E Turbo today. I had been looking at an XR6 Turbo, but I think the resale might be a problem down the track with the current $37K XR6 special. I went for Ego, with 19 inch alloys and black interior. Sensational car for the money. I'll post for pics when I get it......

Hi Guys, I am assuming Lightning Strike is the best colour for not showing up the dirt. How bout some of the other colours such as Seduce, Nitro and Ego? Also, do you beleive a colour like Nitro will look dated after a while? Andrew

My father in law used to be an engineer at ford. Apparently this means I qualify for the discount!!!!!!! He is going in tomorrow to arrange the letter. Will be interesting to see what the discount is, buit it is supposed to be better than fleet. Anyone know what I should expect? Andrew

No other takers? Best fleet price I have got is $51k on the road, nitro, towbar, leather / upgrades sound etc, electronic kit. But a terrible trade in. Still tossing up between this and a Honda Accord V6 Luxury. Less discound but a good trade in.

So John, I am a bit confused about the comment about RRP. The price I got was for a Falcon XR6 Turbo SEDAN, with luxury and electronic kits, auto etc - on FLEET discount. It was $50K. Are you saying this is way over priced? This is less than the RRP as I understand. Andrew

That price if pretty close. The quote I got had the tech pack, luxury pack and a towbar. I got the quote in regional Victoria. I am salary packaging the vehicle, and qualify for fleet. Still considering staying with a Kluger or Mazda CX9 - but the XR6 Turbo looks like the good for the money. Andrew
