  1. From mine and similar cars, 235-245rwkw would be it, before the Injectors are maxed out. Its the Injectors that predominately max out 1st Springs and Injectors, good for probably 260-270 with exhaust, then theres the gearbox, etc to consider. Then, you need to ensure the money tree has plenty on manure

Mines sealed with 5 min araldite. The nuts and bolts are never coming off, ever On the other hand, I'm sure the Turbo would filter them out for me if they got that far

There are plenty of threads discussing the pair. As far as I know, they are the one and the same box. Just have slightly different tunes in them based on the vendors experience Go Searching, and you will find
  4. Find the extra bit, and go the Phoon They look hot
  5. Mine was flashed at 3k, made no difference in my opinion
  6. I'm pretty certain the metric version would not do 1/4 mile though. that's an imperial measurement There are probably also rare as rocking horse too Edit: Just checked the gtechpro site. Metric one does 0-100k and 0-400m (not qtr mile)
  7. There are 2 versions, ones imperial, and the others metric. They are almost always imperial, which means they measure 1/4 mile ( as well as 0-60mph) The metric would measure to 100km/h and 400m ?????
  8. Can we have the barby at Kittens
  9. You can get ther manual off the website. Both jars would land at the same time as both haver the same force (gravity) applied to them, and same resistance (Air). The G-Tech can measure F (Force) as HP, but then it does require the Wieght of the car to be inputed. It then still uses then accelerometer to calculate how long it takes to move so much weight so far, so quick, to derive HP. I've never bothered with it Simpler to set it up for 0-60 or 1/4 mile. Takes 10 secs. Tur, were you measuring 0-60mph or 0-100km/h ??? The Pro like mine only does one or the other. ie: Metric or Imperial... Think the RR and SS do both
  10. It uses an accelerometer of sorts to measure acceleration of the car. By calculating acceleration x time, it determines vehicle speed and distance travelled. The real fancy ones have 3 accel's., so orientation is not important. Mine is basic and just has the single one. You just stick it to the windscreen, make sure its pointed straight down the road and level it so it reads 0 g's, press the go button, wait for it to say Go, and plant it . (It doesnt start timing till you move, no reaction time cannot be measured) Inaccuracies would be caused by non flat roads etc. Damn hard finding a flat private road Alan
  11. You dont require a wieght input unless you want to measure HP. Not relevant for 0-100 or 1/4 mile times.
  12. Hey Luke, yeh, didnt want to attract unwanted attention to the car now that I have the Edit. Figured the numbers were probably too low, but hey, on comparisons sake, mighty impressive improvement I have no idea how accurate the G-Tech really is Buts its a cool toy, so what the hell
  13. I've tried out the G-Tech Pro (LED Model) on my T pre and post Edit. Its a MkII SSS. These were done on the same stretch of private road. SXR, I have the super slusher, and its great. Best of both worlds. Missus drives it to the right, me to the left. Bonus, NO clutch Both are good, so it just comes down to whether you get off on a clutch and rowing gears.
  15. Mate, I've only had mine since New Years day, its got 11000km already, and I loveeee it Best car I've ever owned. Not that that's saying a whole lot as its the first true 'performance' vehicle I've had. I would recommend to everyone, except I dont want every one to own one. , just me All the motor companies have issues at some point. Alan
  16. The latest flash certainly does. Just ask JB It will require a Unichip retune if flashed by Ford.
  17. I'm sure someone from this forum would be MORE than happy to take your phoon down to melb, and pick up your GT and bring her back There a bunch of nice blokes/gals here

  19. C.S.I replied to Blown BA's topic in Off-Topic
Hmmm, not a bad photo chop
  20. Did you tell em you'll take ALL insurance with you when you move elsewhere, and not just the Car Insurance?? That would normally persuade them I would think
  21. Look at the bright side. Saved you 10 months worth of premiums
  22. Is anyone bothering to declare their 'Edit' ???
