Would be expecting closer to 290-310rwkw with the FG turbo and those mods? Did they suggest the valve springs? Don't think they're usually done on the FG's at that level?

Upgrading to T2 slotted rotors and Bendix Ultimate pads were a brilliant upgrade for me. Made the brakes feel how they should have stock - not the extremely disappointing OEM setup the car originally came with. This was the first change I made to my car (well before its first service) and couldn't have been done soon enough. In reality the pads are (I believe) what made the most difference (more so than the rotors for normal road driving). If wanting to limit expenditure and current rotors are fine then I'd try the pad/fluid change.

Excellent. I hear they also bring the tranny up to temp quicker - that has to be a good thing given the number of short trips I do.

Doesn't really negate it - more of a separate issue I've had for years WRT long weekends In Vic we get all our public holidays in a 7 month (10/11 within a 6 month) period with nothing during the remaining months. Would be much happier to use one of the floating ones during the long winter/spring period than on a "next working day" sort of deal.

It's a date specific day I've got no problem with them keeping it that. Taking an extra day off on the next work day if it's over a weekend isn't giving the substituted day any special meaning. Personally - I'd be happier if they added a day in the 2nd half of the year (when public holidays are non-existant) to be a public holiday in lieu of ones "lost" due to them falling on weekends

If ANZAC day falls on a Weds should we move it to a Monday to make it a long weekend?

Not saying that - quattro could well be innocent and just asking a question (and probably is). Don't think Dags would troll the forum either. Probably easier to do than it was to get the V6 in there in the first place. Might want to check your P-Plate conditions though - might not be allowed to have the XR6 turbo, but a VW diesel turbo may be allowed. As per condition of entry to forums though - pics of cars are compulsory Wish the forum had IP flagging, so we could work out the innocent 1st questions from regular users who make a new account to toss down some bait.
