  2. I'd do it
  3. Depending on the incoming pics - it was either accidental and forgivable or totally the tipping point
  4. You draw diagrams on the pavement in sh*t?
  5. Bump 1st post here, haven't introduced myself yet, but I have 18 retarded questions I'll ask in the 1st post Some of you will respond trying to find out what I actually need help with, some will tell me all the issues and others will suggest why the one's who responded were wrong. I won't log in for another week and then just whinge that you guys are no f*cking help My post will be 35 pages long - I'll have posted twice and never visit this forum again. All I really wanted to know was what the + and the - symbols on the gear shift do YOU GUYS SUCK - I was only asking on behalf of someone They are a war victim or disabled - you should feel bad I'm going to get my mates onto you guys - you're in for a world of trouble HSV FTW - Ford suck
  6. Pics of smashed Xbox?
  7. I wish I was able to get that colour (mine was the last of the LE's left - didn't get a choice)
  8. Gives you an excuse to go out and buy a PS4 now She did you a favour
  9. I know I'm not OCD - but fark me - all the factory FG's I've seen have their tip at an angle that needs to be straightened eg: (random pic - not the worst, but still "wrong") - I think mine goes the other way
  10. It would have gone forward if it was due to inertia during the rapid stop? Ask her if it was sudden movement, or more gentle/smooth (powered) Maybe (as posted above) something electrical
  11. I wanted to call the kids goats Vinnie (Vindaloo), Korma, Massie (Masala) and Maddie (Madras) My suggestions were refused :(
  12. Tempe are fine. Buy through them via eBay/paypal and you get extra protection
  13. Rab

    Xr8S?

Valid question though, now that there's no more FPV's We don't want our slower, heavier brethren to feel unwelcome
  14. I wear gloves now for anything stronger than a jalapeno
  15. Chuck some Finalgon on it Ralph. Wash your hands after though 1.73 times the size is pretty lucky - 1.75 is the cutoff for amputation
  16. Have had Finalgon on mine (basically the adult version of Dencorub) Wasn't pleasant "Finalgon Cream may cause the following side effects: intense local heatskin burning sensation"" may cause blisters of the skin" "You will find that the warmth or heat provided persists for up to 6 hours." "Often, as much as 12 hours later, a hot shower or bath will regenerate the warmth."
  17. Took this one thismorning Reads as "I'm Slow" to me
  18. I knew I was stuck and that it was ugly Didn't get a chance to inspect before the booked in time - and was embarrassed about being bogged
  19. Yep - did a good hit on the drainage pipe Dropped in to see the mess I'd done while the car was on the hoist. Huge scrapes down the sump and a decent chunk taken out of the cross-member. Movement at the front was minimal and didn't bend anything - was just the reduced clearances of the bigger intercooler that caused things to rub - one of those was the aircon compressor. It didn't like being rubbed :( Car's back now and the "feel better" burnout didn't happen... yet Not only did I send the car to Mick filthy, mud covered and without looking underneath it. I also sent it there with f*ck all fuel edit: they were very polite about it - but it was worse than going to a dentist without brushing your teeth
  20. Definitely a night owl myself and not a morning person. 2 or 3am is a pretty normal time for my eyes to finally close. Alarm goes off at 7am and I loathe it.
  21. Any poop updates from the block?
  22. Jeez Pixy - you spend more time maintaining your vacant block than I do on my own home
  23. If today's tuesday (2nd day of your working week) , what do you call day 8?
  24. Latest update: Used my tow bar Sunday night. Drove down a (wrong) dirt road on my way to a mates place and found a dead end. 3 point turn on the flooded "footpath" managed to find the hidden ditch. Right hand front wheel got stuck on the pipe and the rears found the grass on the other side - no way I was going to be able to reverse out of this one. Only option was forward, towards the mud and hope for a bit of grip to let me circle back onto the road. Only option didn't work. Got to use my towbar when the mate I was headed to visit turned up in his Terry to drag me out. Some of the noises, knocks and bumps (both on the initial ditch find and during the pulling me out of the mud) just made me cringe :S Was so pissed off with the whole episode I didn't even have a look. Handed over the mud covered, no longer "favorite" to the boys at Pitlane this arvo for tomorrow's 45k, tranny cooler and turbo side fitment with a refresh on the dyno with the warning of "got bogged, dunno, didn't look - sounded bad" Got a call from Andrew tonight after he put it on the hoist for the service tomorrow - I'd managed to move the radiator, intercooler and puncture the aircon. Going to be an expensive one, but I knew it in my heart on Sunday - I feel bad for not cleaning up the biatch before dropping it off. I honestly didn't want to even look at her That said - it's spring now, weather seems to have turned and I have a sprightly steed on the road again in the next few days - she might start to work her way back into the "good books" (have put in a request to see what's needed to take the LPG to the "next level")
