Latest update: Used my tow bar Sunday night. Drove down a (wrong) dirt road on my way to a mates place and found a dead end. 3 point turn on the flooded "footpath" managed to find the hidden ditch. Right hand front wheel got stuck on the pipe and the rears found the grass on the other side - no way I was going to be able to reverse out of this one. Only option was forward, towards the mud and hope for a bit of grip to let me circle back onto the road. Only option didn't work. Got to use my towbar when the mate I was headed to visit turned up in his Terry to drag me out. Some of the noises, knocks and bumps (both on the initial ditch find and during the pulling me out of the mud) just made me cringe :S Was so pissed off with the whole episode I didn't even have a look. Handed over the mud covered, no longer "favorite" to the boys at Pitlane this arvo for tomorrow's 45k, tranny cooler and turbo side fitment with a refresh on the dyno with the warning of "got bogged, dunno, didn't look - sounded bad" Got a call from Andrew tonight after he put it on the hoist for the service tomorrow - I'd managed to move the radiator, intercooler and puncture the aircon. Going to be an expensive one, but I knew it in my heart on Sunday - I feel bad for not cleaning up the biatch before dropping it off. I honestly didn't want to even look at her That said - it's spring now, weather seems to have turned and I have a sprightly steed on the road again in the next few days - she might start to work her way back into the "good books" (have put in a request to see what's needed to take the LPG to the "next level")
