    Thanks Hpf

It'll be either a C9 or C10 by the sounds of it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It could be a reverse pattern C6 Scotty <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could be a BW35.... Seriously, one of my mates had a FJ20T in a *cough*Gemini, it had the factory 5 sp manual, once we blew that, we put a 3sp Jatco in it, it was awesome! Huge difference to the car, the only problem was it revved extremely high ie limiter at the end of 300mtrs. No good for 400mtr work. Diff change would have made that problem disappear.
  2. The car looks fantastic in the flesh! Love the colour! The FPV calendars dont' do it justice! **glances over at FPV calendar once again, and drools**

    New Buyer

The speaker size doesn't change between standard sound and Premium, the only additional speakers is a subwoofer mounted on the parcel shelf, and tweeters in the A pillars. Can't remember the size of the speakers in the doors and parcel shelf, but I know it isn't common ie 5 x 7 or something like that. You can get them, just have to do some hunting around. If you have MB Quart splits, make sure you get Premium Sound, so that way you can replace the factory tweeters in the A pillar with the MB jobbies.
  4. Imagine wrestling that thing thru the underground carpark at Darling Harbour! Are they still bulletproof? Ive got a lot of time for a car that resists car park dents....
  5. If I honestly thought you would stick to your promise, I would definately come along to the cruise. So it looks like I will see you all at the BBQ.
  6. I don't know what dealer in Canberra you have been using - have you tried MS700's place of employ? They were doing a good job of working through Cro's problems with his previous T - and there were plenty of 'em! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you know who MS700 works for? Perhaps PM the details if we cannot say in the thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mitchell is by far the best service centre. They now have a WDS too!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In our case, its actually a PDS, not a WDS. HAD a PDS.... Some UTTER B@STARD broke into our servide department last week, and stole 2 digital camera's, two cash boxes with $7.30 total in them, and a $8000 PDS system man I am going to miss that thing... we are currently in the joyful process of going through insurance... should have another PDS "shortly" ......maybe in 2 weeks!
  7. YCL is correct, you can just remove the Typhoon boost pressure gauge, and install a Autometer one, but the factory wiring will not simply plug in! Not a huge job though, depending on which Autometer gauge you purchase, it will need a electronic/pressure line fitted to the new gauge. All the factory lighting wiring should be easily adaptable to the new gauge. Hope this helps.
  8. Exactly. Its also idiots like this that spoil events like Summernats. It only takes a few bad apples.
  9. Yeah, the genuine FPV lower mesh will lighten your wallet considerably <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like this <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ummm George, its supposed to go in your front bar, not in your boot.........
  10. Yeah, the genuine FPV lower mesh will lighten your wallet considerably...... and I think the fog lamp surrounds, and the black undertray is diferent as well.
  11. Ive buffed and polished more aluminium than ive eaten hot dinners, and I can only recommend one product... Meguiars Metal Polish, the stuff in the little round tub that smeels nice..... I use this on my intercoolers, pipework, all my Simmons and anything else alloy, and it comes up a treat.
  12. Precisely.
  13. Love the T. Best car ive ever bought. Next to the XC. OK, I get al the issues fixed straight away, no questions asked, that does have a great deal to do with it, wont argue there. Ive just edited my T, and it has taken on a new lease of life. Great car.
  14. Yeah, I was trying to avoid that one..... I got a red hot deal from the distributor, and still didn't get much change from 1.1K... :o
  15. :o :o
  16. I'll be coming down in the next month or so..... if anybody cares!
  17. Do the gauges have their own cups? Dunno dags, I just used the FPV mounting cups. They fit OK, a little bit of fiddling around is required to get them in, there is a 1mm gap around the edge of the cup. The plastic "rings" that the Typhoon/GT use would hide this, but I didnt want to use them.
  18. Mick, I am very interested in this setup and also the oil pressure guage as well. How much for the guages and can I walk into any Ford dealership and get the Typhoon pod? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can no longer order a Typhoon pod without providing a VIN #. You used to be able to, but FPV quickly cottoned onto that one.... :o Bloody expensive gauges, but you get what you pay for!
  19. Craig, I am currently planning all the logistics needed to leave my car in Melbourne for a week. Hopefully in a month or so I will be down. I will definately cruise on over, and have a drink with you! :o
  20. Here is a link to the Autometer site http://hp.autometer.com/products/nexus/index.html
  21. Just installed some of them mighty tasty Nexus gages into my T using a Typhoon pod holder. The Nexus system is a excellent system, the latest offering form Autometer. Shame you need to mortgage the house to buy them! Here's a pic:
  22. Bzzzt! GT-P have factory Brembo's, 6 spot front! Obviously you need to do some more research as well!
  23. Gee I know of somebody else who has them plates, in NSW I think..... can't quite remember though
  24. that's the stuff we want!
  25. I use what Ford recommend, the genuine Ford LPG oil. I use this because, if there is ever any concern/finger pointing to why my engine stopped, at least it has the right stuff in the sump. I change the oil and filter every 5000klms. Hope this helps.
