Need to go buy another 2..... My car is a Dec 02 build, picked up Dec 16th 02, and it has..... 14,962 klms. But that will change now, I just quit my second job, so I can start enjoying life more! I was quoted a smidge over 2K by Reiner from APS, by the time I bought the swing valve which is needed also. I am not denying the APS is a nice unit, but I got my Typhoon intercooler at a much better price than $1400 (as you would expect), so with the change, im going 1800-Dial-A-Tune. Should get out of it for a smidge over 2K. It was a better way to go IMHO. Horses for courses!

If you are after a "cheap" intercooler don't even bother with a Typhoon cooler. Retail is around the $1400 mark.

Here's a tip! If you ever see me bidding on Ebay for new Ford parts, chances are they are at a good price! :lol: Just make sure you do some research before you bid on anything. I see Mick Webb (SVO) selling GT instrument clusters for $475, full retail from me is $420......

that's the dealers fault. Ford doesnt get your contract, the dealer enters the details of your order into their computer system, l am sure that's where the fcukup happened. Yeah, sure, my contract was changed on the spot, but it wasn't changed on the FoMoCo system! Result? One BLueprint T arrived with my SIDO! The dealer muffed it. Not FoMoCo.

Toyota fit most of the Sat Nav at the dealers anyhow! It can be done very easily after delivery. Ordering SatNav units for Canberra Toyota is part of my job.

In relation to supercharging, centrifugal speaking, there is no way a blower can make "maximum" pressure at say 3000rpm, where a turbo system can. Centrifugal only make their maximum PSI at maximum revs. My XC's blower is currently set at 15psi, it will only ever make 15psi at 6000rpm. If it were twin turbo'd, it could well be making 15psi at 3500rpm. But the turbo's dont have the blower whine!

My point exactly. And on top of that, twin turbos? But like the man said, insurance aint a issue. So my comment still stands! NOTHING BEATS THE SOUND OF A FORCED V8 AT FULL NOISE! Im not pulling my own pud here (ok I am), but my XC sounds sexual chocolate!

My only concern with a TTGT would be the insurance! Nothing beats the sound of a forced inducted V8 at full noise. Nothing.

Kirsty's Terri is going fantastic. We have had the windows tinted 20%, and also fitted the factory Window mesh. Now the windows are black. Looks great! We havent had one solitary problem with it. Nearly 10,000 klms clocked up, its a great car to drive.

The best and easiest thing to do is: Go and find a MkII GT or a Typhoon with the gauge pod. There are lots of these at your local Ford dealership being repaired as we speak! So finding one shouldnt be a hassle. Get the SIDO off it. Go into Spare Parts, ask for a Gauge Pod on top of the ICC for a GT, they will ask for a SIDO, give them the SIDO you just borrowed off broken down GT/F6 or the brand newie sitting in the showroom. The gauge pod is NOT on restriction through FPV, but the spare parts dept has to call DPSG (dealer parts support group) to get the order placed. It is what they call a "Unique Part". The problem everyone is having at the moment, is that the pod is on backorder. Nobody has any. And FoMoCo are still awaiting a vendor promise delivery date. You could be waiting a while. I have waited almost 3 months for some parts to come off backorder.

Um that's rubbish, I have been insured with AAMI since I was 28 with mods $800 odd per year on my T in Melbourne. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ummm no its not. They wont touch me either, cause im under 30. It changes from state to state. But in the ACT, if you own a T, and are under 30, they wont touch you.

If the diff does get replaced again, use a centre punch, and make a mark on the old housing before you visit the dealership. Then check the "new" diff for the mark you made with the centre punch. That way you will know for sure if the diff is actually getting replaced!

Winford's will still cover you, but I reckon it would be a totally different kettle of fish if you went elsewhere and expected full warranty..... If you play, be prepared to pay!
