  1. Here's one I prepared earlier.....
  2. Maybe a can of that Throttle Body Cleaner spray stuff could come in handy? I've used that on a few car and damn it helps a hell of alot Lumpy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Go to your local Subaru dealer, and ask for a can of "Upper Engine Cleaner" p/n SA459, this stuff is the business for removing any sort of baked on crud inside your T/B, and intake system. Its kinda pricey (bout $15 a bottle), but you get what you pay for!
  3. You want some of this do you Alex? Mafia, f@*king over the greys and silvers since 2002. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looks more like: Mafia, much rather driving little boys than their cars......
  4. Umm, there are two hinges and two latches, that's it, where's this $800 part go? And FOrd don't fit them at the factory, they are all done in PD. When I bought mine, I asked every dealer if they could build the car with the lugs removed at the factory, and they all said no, they tried that once and it was too costly, so they are all fitted in Pre Delivery. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ford do fit them from factory! IT IS A FACTORY OPTION. The way to tell is: If it has just the two hinges at the front, it is a PD fit. If it has a 1 piece aluminium plate at the front of the tub, it is a FACTORY FIT. And also, if you request it, Ford CAN put the lugs in. We have a Rapid XR6T in at work at the moment if you require proof. You obviously didn't ask the right dealer. It may indeed cost more to get it fitted at the factory, I dont know, but they do a much better job than the PD team ever will. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OK - I'm sure that makes no difference. I have the lugs removed on mine, so I have my own proof. But Ford refused to remove mine at the factory, they swore black and blue they never have before and never will. It is PD's job, I'm willing bet yours was as well. Just because they told you it wasn't doesn't mean that what they did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wanna put a carton on Crownies on it?
  5. If people didn't experiment, we wouldn't have stuff like fuel injection, ABS.... But noooo, leave it as is! Dont experiment! You wont discover anything that way!
  6. ..Correct! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aaaah, brings back memories of the XC range with either its small capacity tank, or the 120ltr..... BP love it when I rock up to fill her up!
  7. What are the upsides of the new job?

Yep! It's called cash. You should get some sometime, it works a treat. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pure gold!
  10. This topic is about PWR intercoolers, and the tune pertaining to it! Not about wheel spinning in the wet, or the dry, or concrete or whatever the bloody hell you's drive on! BACK ON TOPIC PLEASE! it ain't that hard.
  11. Yep, I totally agree! I love the exhaust tips though, are they an APS item or just similar?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its got the full APS zorst on it. Speaking of APS, I tried to get another rear muffler today, cause I reckon the quad exhaust tips would look tops! But APS wont supply just the final muffler on its own! Oh nooooo they want another 2k outta me! Very disappointed.
  12. Thanks for the comments fella's! Looks like Rex Hunt has been doing lots of kissing around here.....
  13. that's suprising, considering the price of oil lately.....
  14. Yeah, I did, but io reckon it might look a little poo cause there is no other chrome bits on the bus..... P.S I had to do the swap over today! In non work time!
  15. I didn't actually "remove" the badges as such, that is a completely new bootlid. I still have my OEM bootlid in the garage, if I ever want to swap back. To remove the badges normally, id use a chook stick, a plastic prying device that safely removes, pry's badges off, without scratching paintwork. Unfortunately, removing the ford oval is a totally different ball game, it is countersunk kinda, and it also has locating holes, so to do it properly you will need to weld the oval up. And, because the bootlid is so thin, usually when you apply heat (like a mig), the bootlid warps, so you need to be ultra careful.
  16. Yep, got it in one. Thanks for your opinons fella's, keep them coming! The look is growing on me.......
  17. *mick quickly grabs phone and punches out a dob-in SMS to amanda*
  18. You got a part no.? Cost? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Walbro Inline Fuel Pump GSS341 255L/Hr - High Pressure around $150 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> George, is this the part number for the intank jobbie or the inline? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Intank Mick, it would replace the orginal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Youre a bloody legend George, cheers!
  19. Yes I have. Here is a quick definition: JPEG is designed for compressing either full-color or gray-scale images of natural, real-world scenes. It works well on photographs, naturalistic artwork, and similar material; not so well on lettering, simple cartoons, or line drawings. JPEG handles only still images, but there is a related standard called MPEG for motion pictures. Hey TurboDewd, heard of the warning system?!

  21. Looks ok to me, same red multi-rings pic? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, ani is right. Except I got a little white box with a red x in it! and then those little words.
  22. Another pic of the finished job.
  23. Drumroll please...... The after pic!
  24. Did the big conversion today. Would appreciate some opinions on this, I am in two minds if I like it or not... I am thinking I still might order the DJR style lip spoiler, I am really unsure..... The rear end has lost its cluttered look, which I do like! Before pic:
  25. Sure is. They have designed another cooler, this time its much better than the horrific twin pass jobbie. It is a single pass unit, very large core, you probably couldn't bolt in a bigger core without redesigning the intake system. I like it!
