  1. don't bother running it in... just thrash it straight off the floor! ...but if you REALLY want to be anal about it, then just go easy on the RPM for the first 500km, then go nuts...
  2. you know what I don't get? is how these subaru owners seem to think that 4wd makes the car handle better! all it does is give it more traction, it doesn't mean the car can enter or go through the corner any better! retards. I didn't say anything at the time, but a mate has an 06 WRX, he thinks it's god's gift. we were following an FG XT falcon into a roundabout in the wet... his rex was slipping and moving around and generally being a handful, while the falcon just seem to drive in and drive out without a hassle, all the time hold the same pace!
  3. I agree... plus I don't really see what's wrong with stock airbox (with 2nd intake) and piping. it's a bit long, but the diameter should be enough...
  4. where's the video of this supposed 210 in a 50 zone?
  5. still waiting on those photos of your FG manifold, Chris!
  6. apparently the FG manifold is a much better flower, so it's probably easier to source yourself an FG manifold and have a T4 flange fitted... I think Rapid can do it.
  7. there's something odd about this thread... :spam:
  8. I had a cam'ed Boss 260 with a twin 3", sounded f*cking tops, but it drank like a sailor and SERIOUSLY struggled for traction even though it only made just under 300rwkws... standing start, no brake, it would spin 'em through 1st, 2nd and a bit of 3rd (ZF) I'd be looking at a Coyote if I was you!
  9. what's to stop you taking our GT35 and fitting ETT wheels and housings?
  10. the safest way would to have it towed. if you're an RACV member, I'm pretty sure you get one free tow a year, but as exarsixturbo said, you can drive it, just don't rape it. also, on a side note, if yours is a BA-BF, you'll probably need to have the wastegate ported to stop/reduce over boosting cause by a freer flowing exhaust...
  11. yeah, the auto's gone into limp-home... mine used to do it in my XR8 if you over rev'ed it (higher then stock limiter). sounds like the auto's detected too much torque...
  12. I've looked everywhere! can't find one...
  13. as I said to you on MSN, dude; I think it's a waste...
  14. nah, they can kind of control the ZF in a "signal bender" way, by tricking it into doing what you want, but it's very limited. You can control the 4-speed directly.
  15. is this "DUZ 10"? list of mods or BAN!
  16. 4-speed is easier to "tune", for now. The 6-speed is much strong!
  17. *Labor I have and always will vote Liberal.
