Yea got low 300's 6spd auto and it stalls up well but dosent work well on the street obviously. Might go have a look just need to buy a helmet and then woooooosh

So you think even with 19's I'll be able to hook up alright. I'm not running much power and going for low 12's. Are you going down there Marc? Might be able to give me a pointer or 2 on pressure and burnout since you're the street tyre king

I think their last dyno day was a bit of a laugh. 500 rwkw maximum allowed. So they enter a car with 499rwkw. Can't beat them without being disqualified

Went racing around mallala in one of their supplied race car. Was good fun throwing it into corners and the weird feeling of actually flattening the accelerator completely while going around a corner with no dramas. Then leaving in the f6 and thinking "damn this things quick" Good fun

true after seeing clubsports with 40 grand spent on them with twin turos only making 420rwkw??? but if you really want a v8 save up for a gs. those things are awesome. I went for a ride in a gt with a tune and it was insane. v8 sound + easy power and supercharger already on there. weeeeeee

I never understood why people buy the xr8 at all. Same car as an xr6 turbo but goes slightly slower and uses much more fuel. awesome

yea they are not built "toyota tough" past 30,000 k's all of ours wouldnt get into reverse. something in the steering wheel screws up at about that as well which leaves you with your airbag ligh on all the time and costs heaps to fix apparently. central locking dosent work properly in the ones that even have it. and slow.... the turbo deisel ones are worse especially the autos. worst automatic transmission ever. and I drove one of those coming out of a slipping 4speed and it still felt worse. driven petrol and deisel and manual and auto and all f*cked me off.

nothing worse than cruising up a steep windy road with double white lines the whole way because every corner is a blind one. Then theres some douchebag in his gay tights with his shaved legs going 20 kph and everyone has to run the gauntlet and overtake over a double white line and hope that theres not car coming the opther way. see this all the time on the way home up into the hills. they are the ones putting the motorist at risk. I hope when someone goes around them and there is a car coming the other way and theres a head on collision the cyclist is responsible for the death and damage. this should be in wpyot but too mad to open pages

there was street commodores cruise for charity today. From bonython park up to birdwood. they had a dyno comp there and I did witness some high 200's but that was pretty rare. foyle was there and didnt even want to go on it. would have been a cracker with the ultimate sleeper fg doing 450+++ one guy in a vn ss cracked 119rwkw and was cheering

yea on the new santos building. was told I an working between 6 and 16 hours. bloody pipe freezing. not good for what makes me feel good today thread. watch the dude for a hour sealing a big polystyrene esky onto a coper pipe the fillling esky with liquid nitrogen. but if I do the 16 hours 30 hours of pay will make me feel good. but $15.60 a hour does not :(

mate I undid those mini nuts on the oil sensor and the brass adapter between the sensor and the next bit with an 10 inch shifter. ladies were literally walking off the street and asking for my number after seeing my shifter skills. then undoing the filter out the block I had the socket on there, then a 9 inch wobble bar then a universal joint then a 3 inch wobble bar so the ratcher handle was where the airbox would be. and undid it like a boss. oil line didnt even try and kink with the way I was looking at it. when I get my earls line I'll make a tutorial on how to install it with a 18 inch stillson wrench

tightened up exhaust manifold bolts last night. most of them I could just about undo with my hands. then today fark the car gained heaps of power back it was like the feeling you get when you leave the tuners after a tune. and also removing the turbo oil line filter that was blocked and it going very smoothly. didnt even have to cut down a spanner or anything. Must be my mad plumbing skills

hi mate. firstly is the turbo is stuffed I really dont think they will be able to get out of a claim whith having a k&n, k&n says that the filter will not void warranty and they normally just reject you the first time hoping you will fold. someone snapped their tailshaft and were told it wouldnt be replaced becasue of f6 intercooler on a xr6 turbo. then when he argued it they gave in straight away. Also I think that instead of getting the turbo rebuilt for 2.5k there are literally dozens of fg stock turbos floating around for heaps cheaper than that and probably ones with less k's than yours as well. a lot of people upgrade them straight away and almost give the stock one away. but I hope in the end your turbo is fine and its just some pissy little thing making it leak good luck

if its still on dunlops then 350 will be more than enough lolololololol.

well from google it sounds like the turbo oil screen is blocked so ill remove that tomorrow
