Don't know yet Bruce's guess is a bolt inside the diff has vibrated loose and fallen into the gears. He said he's seen it before on some bf's but won't know for sure until hes had a look

yea well by the sounds of it its pretty labour intensive to replace and a stronger diff isnt much more than a normal one so might as well get a stronger one. dont want that happeneing again back 2 wheels locked up when turning around a corner. then the car was stuck where it finished couldnt be pushed or anything. yea foyle is that why you went the standard zf a second time?

but only 1 044 allowed foyle otherwise you have to leave SA.

I'm getting mine dropped off at heinrichs tomorrow as well to get a new diff fitted. My car currently has a problem with the rear wheels not able to move which isn't a big deal for when its parked but sucks for trying to move.

if you do go ahead make sure you do your runs at the end of the night so that everyone else can get a few runs in before the oil on the track. cheers

how much does a vf gts actually make at the wheels. the gt probably only needs another 20 kw maximum to beat it. then all the have to do is put a 450 badge on it.

like shauny said his fg f6 made 327 with just a tune which sounds like what a lot of other people have gotten as well. mine was tuned at bruces and I would say its in 3rd gear. dosent show the gear on the dyno sheet but tops out at about 190kph so I dont know what gear that is I assumed 3rd? anyway mate it will be a helluva difference and probably nowhere else around for the price. not just a backyarder that's for sure

Lawl. I had a very average night at the drags. Didn't even beat the times I got when I had street tyres and couldn't stall it up First run the car felt real slow like a pipe was loose or something And the second run I had it in performance mode like I thought was the way to go and after I took off it went straight to second screwed around then I felt it kickback to first gear and then it pulled nicely. Thought I had it sorted for a 3rd run in manual mode but then old mate Shaun dropped his guts on the track lol. Next time I suppose. Last time without stalling my best 60ft was 1.98 then with stalling and making boost around 2.2 and 2.4. Wheelspin and stupid auto

My ute made a whole bunch of weird noises on wheel rotations and it turned out to be loose handbrake cable, In saying that I replaces one of the rear wheel bearings 3 times. Is your handbrake tight?

even 35s would probably set it off being 275's

Plasti dipped my twisties black on the phoon today. I actually found it better to do with the wheels still on the car and just cover up everything in there. This is how it turned out. I think it looks pretty cool
