  6. I could't find much info on this but can someone tell me what size hose I need to connect my BOV back to the Vacuum line? It's for an FG..
  7. I'll be keen tab
  8. Just wondering if anyone could shed some info on rolling the rear guards in an FG Ute. Called up numerous places and no one is willing to do it as I believe there is a metal bracket in the rear guard that needs to be removed?? Is it as easy as just removing this bracket and then rolling the guards?? Haven't been able to find much info on this anywhere so if anyone could help us out it would be much appreciated.
  9. Cheapest mod you can do without affecting warranty I believe is to replace the air muffler off your turbo.. Rapid Systems and Plazmaman make this pipe they are normally around $200 and you will definitely get some more spool/induction noise from it. https://www.plazmaman.com/shop/index.php?action=item&itemId=364
  10. Looks good mate. Nice dish on the back
  11. JD that looks so good man!
  12. Front could come down lower still only got King Spring SSL's in there I think.. Will eventually be getting some XYZ coil overs for the fronts. The rear on the other hand is perfect IMO
  13. Yeah that would look boss. Will look 10x better when I put the spacers on and bring it out another 30mm! All up cost me $2850 as it was $500 for the wheels to get painted..
  14. yeah came with the removable lip dish in case anything happens like gutter rash or whatever I can just put them on..
  15. Hey Guys finally got some rims on the ute.. After months of research and looking at different styles I finally ended up going with the Koya Inox Aston in 19x8.5 +25 front and 19x9.5 +20 rear. Got the wheels painted satin black and left the rivets chrome. Haven't got many pics yet but will take more soon and post them up.. Still gotta add spacers in the rear to bring them out further to sit flush on the guard Cheers, Tim
  16. Hey guys.. I'll be there. Look forward to it !
  17. Yeah mate that's them.. It's a nice looking rim.. Thinking of painting them matt black if I decide to go with it.
  18. Hey guys, looking at some new rims for the ute soon. Got my mind set on some from the states they are the 5zigen zr-520 in 19x9 +20 and 19x10 +20. Just wondering if these would fit on an FG ute lowered on SSL's all round? Cheers
  19. I wouldn't mind knowing about this also as I think I'm gonna do a similar setup to you. I have the coolerworx piping currently but has anyone tried cutting or trying new silicon joiners to fit other piping kits to the process west stage 2 coolers??
  20. Great writeup Gussa. I'm sure this will help a lot of people installing gauges into the FG. I have no idea when it comes to electrics so I just got an Auto Electrician to do mine..
  21. Looks good Gussa! See you went the same setup as me. The cobalts look great especially with the blue dash I'm really happy with them. My Gauges actually do the same, they stay in the same position they were reading when the car is switched off. I think it's normal? I'm used to it now anyway.. Doesn't really bother me. I also went with the sandwich adapter works really well IMO and no need for drilling into the block.
  22. Mate I have 3 autometer cobalt gauges in mine with the new SS FG pod, all I did was shave a bit off both the terminals as they aren't needed for anything.. Fits perfect now. Check post #227 on page 6 of the FG Gauge Pod thread in SS Inductions for some pics of mine..
  23. I've got boost/vac 30psi, oil pressure and oil temp in mine all auto meter cobalt gauges. Looks great and matches the dash lighting well
  24. Yeah agreed I didn't think the laws stated you had to have 2 mufflers in place to be legal.. Because even removing the centre muffler the exhaust is still fairly quiet just a bit more deep on WOT. Cops will only get ya if it's too loud..
  25. Was good to see your cars today guys. Those 2 maloos beside had nothing on the Fg's..
