So tailshaft bearing causes the shudder when cold and then goes away when warm? What about those spots I pointed to where air is coming out... Normal?

hey peoples, car has developed a shudder on take off when driven for the first time in the morning etc (6sp manual), once warm the shudder goes away. im assuming its from the clutch and may need new fluid and bleeding?? I decided to hop under car and inspect for any leaks etc but found none and clutch reservoir is full but fluid looks a bit yucky. I also had a look under while car was running and at the gear box there is air coming out of a couple of spots.... im guessing its normal but have attached pics of the spots to make sure. cheers

I'm feeling a new thread coming on....."what parts do I need for an engine rebuild?? " but seriously mate I'd be putting at least an intank Walbro pump in it asap!! It would be running flat chat to keep up with fuel requirements. Is that a record for a stock pump??

Talk to your tuner he will no what's best for your car. But would need a touch up tune and may create more power. Prepare for louder intake noise

They should get people to sign paperwork etc to cover their ass, I don't see how supplying and fitting parts on a vehicle and making it illegal to drive on public roads is legal anyway... When I got my cat put in I had to sign an agreement to state that it was for track use only. When they tune a vehicle they make it illegal to drive on public roads most times, so they are crazy not to get something signed.

Just wanna say thanks to rancidpunx for his advice. I have just finished giving my car a clean and it's the best it's ever looked!! Started with wash, claybar, wash then finished with ZAINO Z5 polish. This stuff is unreal, easy to apply and looks awesome. Thanks again mate. I only have an iPhone and the photos I took don't do it justice so didn't post any (picsorban??)

Try find "mikesmodelcars" on eBay, genuine ford in genuine packaging and correct model number etc, $200 delivered, this was about 3 months ago. I just pm'd him and it came with a receipt from coffey ford.

Just got a 2nd hand cold side piping kit, the pipe kit has a boost sensor attached to it, how do I get the old wiring from old sensor (drivers side) to new sensor (passenger side)? Cheers

Just don't take the cold side piping... That's for me!!!
