MY ROD GOT OUT

Repco have the ngk with .8 gap (I got them cheap cause a mate runs the store) plus got my genuine coils from "mikesmodelcars" on eBay.

Hey everyone, I swear there was a thread somewhere on here showing handy things to data log but can't track it down... Anyway, is there a way to log intake temp? Is it AIR_CHARGE_TEMP? Just wanna know how much my cooler is effecting performance. Also wouldnt mind checking out my actuator if that's possible with datalogging?

Thought I'd update, decided to check all connections from battery back and found one of my crimped lugs was loose, pulled on it and cable slid straight out. Bought a new battery terminal and reconnected wires up and all good, even starts perfectly when hot as. The loose cable must of been creating excessive resistance. Sooooo glad I didn't change starter motor Thanks for ya help again everyone

if it's valve springs it would usually be rough after giving it a hard run or two. But yeh get it checked out asap by a tuner.

Mine did it once, wouldn't start, re loaded my tune and code went away

Tb relocation worked perfectly for me, made car heaps for responsive as I had similar to stock piping going to crossover and it used to get hot as due to it being near the turbo. Now pipe from cooler is heaps shorter and no hot pipes Plus it looks heeaaaappss better, kroozin is on the money, get orangeute to make ya up one, I made my own with a mate but it's alot of stuffing around to get measurements etc right, easier just to buy the kit.

Could be anything, get it scanned and should show a code to give u an idea of why the light came on. Car is stock yeh?

Yeh it's just a breather hose, no pcv valve. Hose to crossover will be fine.

I just got a throttle body relocation kit and chopped up the hdi pipe work to suit, so much cleaner then having piping everywhere like the rapids one. Get the oranges utes (eBay name) one off eBay it's good value, me and mate made mine but was a fair bit of work.

Chewy...... I like it, hubba bubba grape flavor would be a close colour match.

Yeh light is annoying, I wonder if it's just an orange globe and if ya pulled out cluster could replace with the same colour as rest of dash that would look good!

What about all of these "hi torque" ones I'm seeing on eBay? Haven't done a starter in a bf, pretty simple? Don't have a hoist.

What's the going price for a new one these days?

Ok so went to go for drive bout 1/2hr ago (bout 1hr after driving it previously) and it did the slow crank ie turned key and didn't even get a full crank in, just got stuck for a second or two then car started. So I turned it off and quickly got voltmeter onto battery to test draw and got my misses to crank it.... Car cranked quick as!! Like it had a new battery haha dammit! Voltmeter read 10.9 and went straight up to 13.9. Normal?

Alright will keep an eye on it I guess, might take my portable booster with me just in case haha may not help if starter completely kicks it In though. Anyway to confirm that it is the starter with a voltmeter?

Earth cable goes straight from battery to boot with same gauge cable as battery, maybe it's not a good enought earth as its only thin metal? Would running another earth off battery to lower chassis help?

So new starter motor? Only done 60,000km does it usually happen that soon? Also it has actually done it at night, is it heat soak caused by the extra resistance not so much weather heat?
