Yes.. should of been clearer.. Im sure this discussion has been covered before..around the same time I was deliberating over whether to keep the reductions or not. I chose to delete and happier for that Over 10000kms tuned to 300 something and now at around 400 I think if its an input shaft breakage your worried about youll fined most guys running big horsepower will break them on aggressive kickdowns.. ie stabbing it at cruising speed and picking up 2 gears Ive learnt just to shift it manually so it wont to that whole downshift thing I think fart or not..if your on 400+ its only a matter of time before a rebuild.. Some guys are aggressive others abit more mechanically sympathetic Personally the fart/hesitation was annoying.. Sounded cool.. but slowed things up

Oh wow! Yes.. do your tailshaft.. Mine let go at the creek.. not a pretty sight or sound. Definitely need some hard evidence of the benefits. But kudos for putting your money where your mouth is. Sometimes you just have to jump and look later! lol I went a billet wheel upgrade.. I suppose a bit of a stop gap till I see more results from these new turbos starting to hit the market Went 131mph.. so you cant say theyre all that bad in my book Cheers

Well done with your progress so far.. They definitely feel more lively at that power level In regards to the 6235.. Which tuners and what results have they told u about ??? I know it will be hard to compare apples with apples ..every car will have individual and varying supporting mods.. But some sort of base would be great to work from.. As a point of reference my FG XR6T went 11.8 @ 119mph ..full street trim on 98 - 300rwkws The point being.. dyno figures are great, but mph speaks truth..

Yep.. billet wheel.. it measures up at 61.4 which I pretty sure is the standard 3582 size wheel. Don't quote me but Im pretty sure that's that's the spec. Im also running atomic cams... The thing just wants to rev! Its insane !! E85 is tempting and a no brainer for a 10..but still alittle too scarce around Sydney and I don't really want the inconvenience... But sooo tempting... Yep..actually performance mode... It was revving way past peak ... And as I stated previously... last runn of the night I muffed it Ultimately Id like to snare a 10 on 98 and true street tyres.. oh..and 20's !! lol Too much to ask???

Thanks mate Yeah theyre working well Went 131mph in manual mode I took off in second .. So theres more in it Im sure.. Maybe a set of radials...

Well done Jon Retain the bottom end punch of the factory turbo and still be knocking on the door of a 10 second quarter.. To me that would have to be a near perfect balance.. 10's are definitely the new 11.. but I think were all taking for granted just how quick a true 11second vehicle is ... What tyres did your run?

With the dump, especially, youd need a tune pretty much straight away.. Youd be limited to just idling around .. itll boost spike Probably look at doing a port and flapper mod on your turbo. I went full custom 4'inch dump,3.5 system and twin 3 inch tips. Its was loud..sounded tough but loud. Hi-tec mufflers to be exact. We mucked around with baffles which mellowed it just right Sound better than any X-Force that's for sure Cheers
