Put on aftermarket wheels. Originals are 19" x 8.0" +50 offset New are 19" x 8.5" +40 offset. Approx 10mm wider stance each side. Tyres are still the stock Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Paintwork really pops in the sunlight.

Not a chance at $450 per tyre !!!

Not on the cards ! I've had my fun with XR on tracks. Last time I was carrying a little too much speed exiting onto the straight at Wakefield. 360 degree spin and stopped a few feet from the Armco. Changed undies and have never been back ! Wifey has also been guilty a few too many times of carrying too much speed at the bottom of the straight at Wakefield. Thankfully there's a run-out area at this spot..

Soon to leave the XR6T family. Put a deposit on one of these things a few days ago. 2016 Focus RS in Nitrous blue. The wait has started.

Deposit placed a few days ago on a Nitrous blue . Delivery possibly April. But who knows !

My stock power level run at 70000klms showed up weak valve springs. They were upgraded to crow race springs prior to mods. Some cars vave springs are OK others are crap. Who knows why? Ford could have 2 suppliers. I do recall a thread somewhere where the stock springs were compression tested and found to be very weak.

The Mrs on her way home from evening shift. She behaves herself along there as the hairdryer armed P hide near the railway line.

0.2psi was quoted by PWR. So virtually no restriction.

I asked seller a question regarding pressure drop and he couldn't provide a figure. I'll be saving my coin for the PWR stepped cooler.

Oil used was the genuine ZF oil aka "liquid gold".

Posted this on a few other places - so you may have already sighted the pic below. Had the ZF serviced today at 85k. Have been running 305rwkw since 70k. Done a few track days - no drags. Cost $350 at an Auto trans place. My ZF had the steel pan so only labour, gasket, filter & fluid required. Make your own deductions about Fords "the ZF is sealed for life" mumbo jumbo from this pic.

I've been waiting for some to pop up on ebay in Dash. They finally did, but I lost auction . Contacted the guy and he's happy to supply outside of ebay. Front and rear cost me $75 posted. Came with badge, backing plate and some 3M VHB adhesive strips. Quality is good - its just a bugger to get the rear ford badge off. Different design to BA-BF. I had this done to an FG, amusing for the first month then found it to be annoyingly loud. Now replaced with a 3.5" Xforce turbo back. 100% better IMO.

I had 70k up when it went in for its first tune and the springs were starting to fail at stock level. Replaced fr safety reasons as well. Other Fg's have been able to hold it together after a tune - appears to be luck of the draw with FG's.

Hit 289 with the below listed mods. Herrod pipe kit Crow race springs 3.5" Xforce turbo back exhaust 60lb injectors (now 100lb bosch) Tune (X3) Double platinum spark plugs Was having a few minor issues with stalling and rough idle which weren't evident immediately after the tune. Changed to an 82* thermostat and Turbosmart BOV. Then taken back to Autotech. Spiro went over the car from back to front and couldn't fault it. As a precaution he ripped out the 60lb injectors and replaced with bosch 100lb. Seems to have stopped the rough idle and time will tell if the stalling has been resolved. The bonus was that after a re-tune shes now pumping out 305rwkw
