Got the box pulled out on friday and the converter almost needed a tire lever to come out front of box! so long story short, converter tore front seal like it appeared and that's how oil was lost, took box to Roseberry CAT (central auto transmissions) and getting fully rebuilt bigger stronger new clutches, au pump and valve body and big ass tranny cooler! Should hold 350/400kw on street now! Pain in ass but guess what do you expect from stock box ah...

bump..doesnt anyone give it a gut full?????????? lol is the au pump the best option to do whilst pulling down box?

booted off lights and got up road and lost gears,,,, had a look to find tranny fluid comming from bell housing.. there is no tranny fluid in overflow tank, just transmission fluid leaking on ground and no gears.. anyone else had this before or know which way to go about it.. car is ba 03 auto 120k .. any info be great cheers

GREAT THREAD BOYS..... carried out in 2 min just pulled hose off sprayed some WD40 and re- attached..... no need to take battery out etc, just twist hose and apply pressure to pull off... can be tricky to find but just follow red(+) lead off battery to solinoid.. Also done to other xr6 t and noticed difference.. WELL DONE !!!!!!!

might be better/cheaper to take to a auto elec that looks after yr fraud dealer.. save paying premium for a middle man.. or maybe one of the boys from the site I think works at a ford dealer that culd help u... try using long nose plyers to pull each bit out.. just take care maybe worth taking off negative terminal..

hey mate,I have had this happen to me recently, I have been told that this due to me lowering,happens frequent when going in and out of driveways.. if you turn car off it resets so I do not loose abs... hope this helps mate so u dont get fu%d over by fraud!!!

hey guys/gals.. how bout getting together for a cruise on fri 20-sat21st, or following week 27 or 28?? jumped on end of cruise tonight and got to meet great people that have got the blue blood in them like the rest of us.. a better show than a handfull would make the night worth doing at least once or twice a month pending the interest... putting it to ROOSTER as you could be MOD 2010 to work yr magic to see what we can organise..and earn yr loyality points.. and to make it to suit everyone so cruise ideas can be set up in advance with everyones input.. maybe we can start organise a crew to head over to the singleton car show -am sure they would be happy to acomidate a section for the boys from sydney so we roll together..

got a fairly new monza at a decent price, gs 340 walbro,42 pound injectors,capa flash tune, exhaust is done. now for the fit up and tune... cant wait!!! cheers for all yr advice boys, made mesee a bit clearer uno

they are all the same, 340 I believe has bigger mouth to suck fuel..other than that they all flow same litres per hour

there are a couple of post on water sprayers, use the search option to locate as I cant remember where I saw it.. the pros and cons etc even cheap way to diy
