In recent light of the little miss hap I have decided to start a thread on possible Cruise ideas.

Please try to keep it short and just include Basic starting points distance details and a rough estimate on how long the cruse will be.

I think we should (as a car club) have a big cruise to somewhere like batemans bay or anywhere really north, south whatever tickles everyones fancy. possibly book out a motel/hotel thing and make it a overnight thing? or book a track day?

A track day at Wakefield park would be cool, but getting peopl ethere during the week is tricky.

Why don't we do a cruise from South hurstville, all the way up King Georges Road, Centenary Drive, Lane Cove Rd, Ryde Rd, Mona Vale Rd, Barranjoey Rd all the way up to Palm Beach?

If you leave it until 9PM to start off we will miss all the traffic and it makes for a good run that covers a fair bit of distance.

Easy to get to from all points and fairly easy to get home too

Hornsby - Wisemans Ferry (via Galston rd) - hornsby (via freeway/old pac)

a) Meet up at hornsby somewhere

b) take the tight and twisty golstn Rd

c) then follow it up onto the relaxing yet still fun old northern

d) stop for lunch and a bite to eat at the ferry and then cross over and take wisemans ferry road back to the freeway

e) here we can either blast down the freeway (with its construction zones) or take the old pacific highway (with its 60kph zones + bikers) back to hornsby and then home.

cruise distance : about 2 hours 30 minutes and 170 km
