  1. going back for a 3200 dominator converter and a gearbox service...the converter behaves weirdly when it heats up..
  2. hey tray what is the model of your billet turbo? what is the outlet of the compressor housing? im going to upgrade to a billet comp wheel with a 3.5 inch housing outlet for the rae tune.. those billet turbos seem like the business
  3. well finally got it back...about 600hp at 20psi, but the converter is playing up at higher boost and when it gets hot...I havent hit the 20psi on the eboost yet as I cant get traction at 15psi anyways...bloody good fun

  5. yeah a good tune sounds like the medecine!...you should let your tuner know that there has been a bit going on for the xrT in the last 5 years or so mines going good...HOPEFULLY pick it up tomorrow morning.. went 350kw atw on pump and 11psi boost. find out what 20-25 does in the morning! have you seen my engine bay now/been to hitorque? its got a mirror polished custom plazmaman plenum with the billet 85mm cable throttlebody, I havent even seen it done yet, still had the tape on it last time I went.. senna is taking the plenum, just have to get all the bits and peices back with the car and sort it all out..definately dragged out a long way!

  8. hopefully 450kw on pump fuel..would be happy with that as it is. hopefully get a dyno run on video at 20psi tomorrow
  9. got some good news for once!!! everythings working perfect now, says the man, 300kw atw on 7psi, fine tuning tomorow morning. pickup tomorrow with some real boost...cant beleive it...still id be a fool to hold my breath, pistons could still come out of the bonnet and wheels could still fall off..
  10. yeah well not going the new turbo yet, ill wait till I go for the race tune...will have to pull the motor down and give it a freshen up before then too, along with some stage 5 cams and some fixed cam gears...just need to get it back and have a drive, its rediculous whats happened so far
  11. haha that's a massive understatement. I was looking for a performance shop, and in this case I found a shop where you PAY to have your car DESTROYED :-D well turbo is not f*cked, BUT, there was a sh*tload of oil in the exhaust...how would this happen? I can only think that it had the wrong restrictor valve in the oil feed and too much oil was being forced into the bearings so it pushed past the seals into the exhaust??? ORRR someone at some point has poured oil into the exhaust, but I dont want to start thinking someone has done something like that...how would oil get into the exhaust, taking into account the engine is fine, and the turbo is fine...its all cleared out now and the car is running good. pickup tomorrow hopefully...but ill have to get the exhaust taken off and cleaned now ffs
  12. its fine on idle and driving around, but kent said once up to temperature and reving its very smoky, like the seal is gone. so we just have to find out if the feeds clean, and the oil isnt coming from anywhere else like the rings or valve stems...but if the turbo is broken, hopefully its just seals, ill get a new gtx turbo and fix and sell this one...wait and see but this is doing my head in. been disappointment after disappointment that's all this cars been giving me
  13. haah brandon its just started. my BRAND NEW turbo from etm has a blown seal on the turbine side. I think ceramic coating voids the warrantly right? COOOOLLLL so im going a brand new billet gtx4202r in 1.44 a/r. another few weeks off. anybody got better luck than me
  14. what did you put that up for? obviously he has some skill BUT he couldnt get a standalone harness going for the car, and promised me the cars air con, dash, interior command, central locking etc WOULD still work, which is why I did it! but now I know its common knowledge that you cant do standalone harnesses for these cars because of the CAN security system. ofcourse they promised a WHOLE BUCH OF sh*t, which is why I went along with it FOR 6 MONTHS!! andrew is a top bloke and mechanic and all work he did was done straight away and was good as. james is the weak link and hes the owner. hes got no idea. he doesnt know how to program them either as hitorque had to wipe it and spend a week on the phone with autronic to sort it out because it was not going to run. kent says it was breaking down under light load etc because of a crank sensor problem... regardless hitorque pulled out and FIXED the mess. put a standard loom back in and spliced the autronic in in a few weeks. better than 6 months, and IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!! JAMES WOULD NEVER EVER HAVE GOT THE CAR RUNNING, he had missed wiring to the coils and starter motor I was told, if the standalone harness was to even run the motor...but talk is cheap, im speaking from straight up experience, and gave him every chance to get the car going and make a car that would promote the shops work at my cost....burt hey, that's why he now has only one person working for him, and if it wasnt for andrews top work, it would go bust overnight! enough sh*t speaking, its all good now! just hope people can take my experience as their own and give the people in the industry the business that deserve it! and not waste time with sh*t that's so easy to spit out. credit to kent and hitorque so far update next week with the results..
  15. breaking news! I have heard it will be dynoed again on monday! (not dynoed again, just told _) I think they are serious now though, ecu/cdi is all finished and kent has told me that they have had some issues with the program BPS had on the ecu which he had to walk through over the phone with autronic (NOT SURPRISED AS BPS FFUUUUCCCKKKKEEEEDDDDDDDD EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE CAR!!!!!). ive got nothing else but words to give for the thousands of dollars and months of time ive wasted with that amateur shop. I would not recommend this shop to ANYBODY I say again! so should have some figures hopefully early next week anyways
  16. well we were having some troubles working out what injectors I had...im positive I bought 80s but they dont have the blue band so might just be 60s or drilled out 60s. if they cant sort that out today maybe yours will get the dyno time. not really phased. there was a few other things I wanted him to do (such as line locker kit ) so maybe wait until next week anyways

  21. well I went down today, they were trying to start it and finishing off the wiring, so hopefully next week. all the cdi and ecu is in so just all the little stuff. they have been really good, dont mean to make it sound like they havent been doing anything. they are a mad shop and havent stopped since I dropped it off. it just took a while for them to find out actually how much bps f*cked the car up though I think... cant say enough bad stuff about THAT shop and mic, hi torque have done ten times more than bps did in 7 months in 3 weeks so I dont think itll be there that long (I hope!) haha
