As far as I remember, there was no real pot holes, except for 1 on the torquay side of lorne that was average size. I didnt see the one on the apollo bay side, but I could have just missed it or its been fixed. (27th - 28th Dec)

I guess u could, but I think you will not get much more noise coming from the 12" than the 8". I dunno the specs on the amp but im pretty sure it would not be powerfull enough to get the 12" pumping.

woo hoo!,a sunday cruise. im in! Stayed in lorne at chrissy, after going to apollo bay. GOR was awesome, except for all the caravans / RV's / hire cars doing 40 the whole way. How long has the "Drive on left in austalia" signs been up?? they made me lol many times.

did the brakes work after the cc was fixed? I cant work out (in both cases) how brakes can just not work? They are a totally different componant of the car.

wtf?? I know your thinking of going a Expensive Daewoo v8, but isnt it the same principle? Your gonna buy a more expensive car, and still get beat by a car that is not near as expensive, irrespective of what brand either is. Are you just justifying it cos Expensive Daewoo dont do a quicker, cheaper car?. Correct me if im wrong but it seems a bit contradictory. And if they do bring out a new v8 whith better performance, of coarse people will switch over, as it will offer better BFB. After all that's why most of us are in 6t's, it offers the best BFB available now.

I come from a xe esp, and I agree you cant beat the sound. But whats all the talk of "men" driving v8's? Backin the day the only real quick/tough cars were v8's so there was no real option. these days I only ever see pimply / metro dudes in v8's or old fella's. the modern v8 driver is just trying to compensate for their small wang, with a BIG engine. Other than the sound, v8's have no advantage over 6t's. heavy, expensive to run..... ect. (Not including forced injection v8's.. )

ta all, will give that a look tomorro when I can see. I can now rule out it only happening when cold. For the first time in months its happened again. On my way home from workies, I pulled up to a set of light. While waiting my car started to stall (occasionally, the revs drop and almost stalls) after this I started it again it began to carry on like it was on 5-4 cyls again. When I could, I pulled over and turned it off, then started again and all was back to usuall. F*&k this sh*ts me!!

yer. I get no warning lights at all, and if I turn it off while its running rough, it either wont start again or will and continue running crap for a minute. wouldnt be supprised if resetting the tps that way screws things, it feels wrong doing it..

so I'm told... hold the accel pedal flat to the floor and crank for 10 sec's. My engine light never came on though any of these times Dunno bout the battery, never thought of it actually its bin in it since I got it like 6 or so months ago. will also test that when I get it back from the smash repairs :banghead:
