My New Track Toy
Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm guessing this was a better option than spending a packet on the F6 to knock off a second here or there? And not as much of a disaster if you damage anything too? I'd love to do something like this.

Aftermarket Front Bars
The problem with 'glass bars is one bad bump or misjudged gutter and it's stuffed. Plastic will generally still be ok so I'd keep yours as spare.

Rental Agent - How To Deal With Them?
Cant do much about getting kicked out but it sounds like they are trying to keep your bond when they boot you out. I'd get the records and make sure everything is up to date and acknowledged, and also be very thorough when you clean up and vacate the place - even if its getting knocked down you dont want to give them a reason (as in dodgy agent claims repairs were done but no-one checks as the place gets demolished and they pocket the cash). If they try to screw you remind them that it can take a while to remove an unco-operative tenant (you need to go to a tribunal and it can drag out) so if the owner wants you out they wont be happy with the extra delays. You don't want it to come to that though because it will make your rental history look bad.

Newcastle Area
Take a trip out to wsid on a wednesday arvo if you can first to get a rough idea. Is it tuned? If so I think you'd be looking at mid-high 12s. Completely stock (bf2 T) I usually run between 13.7-13.8 pretty consistently. The auto in performance mode makes consistency really easy.

Best Way To Get 350 + Rwkw
There are always exceptions to the rule but when you are giving advice you can't expect he has one of the few freak engines, that's really poor form and you're setting him up for problems. To do the stuff you mentioned for a BA plus the other mods to get to 350 would be well over budget too.

Best Way To Get 350 + Rwkw
If it is a bf mk2 or post 06/06 you could probably get there with the following: xcal box + tune injectors (dekas to keep price down) fuel pump high flow cat intercooler kit (whatever your budget allows for after pricing the stuff above). Look for used bits on here which could save you a couple of hundred here and there. I worked out it will cost me around 6-7k to get to that point but I'm not using the cheapest gear and im including a full xforce exhaust in the pricing too. I am doing most of the work myself though. One last thing - dont skimp on a tune to save a few bucks. It will cost you more later.

Insurance Claims On A Modded T
that would be right. I'm with aami and turning 25 this year. They were still happy to insure me with the T though and will allow any mods (with the roadworthy proviso). More importantly though my gf on her P's gets the benefit of my full no claim bonus which saved her around 1-1.5k per year.

Differences In Dyno Results
I wouldnt say im an expert but there are too many variables to measure improvement from your 60ft times. You should see a difference in mph and hopefully ET as well though.

good to meet you on the weekend dat. What happened with the accidents on saturday? I am keen to enter next year but the prospect of some idiot causing some damage in cruising is a bit of a worry.

Insurance Claims On A Modded T
Let them know for sure. You mention the high flow cat but the way I see it they couldn't deny you based on an emissions issue. Who is to say that at the time of an accident your car wouldn't pass an emissions test with it on? I'd be more concerned about the big coolers that require cutting or anything that could impact on the integrity of the car in a crash situation.

dat what colour is your T? I'm guessing it'll have blacktrack stickers so shouldnt be too hard to identify. I wouldnt mind having a look at the car and saying hi, only reason I havent been to any meets is I dont really have the time to go to newy for a cruise.

Ba Mk2 Typhoon Or Bf Mk2 Xr6T
If you're modding it there biggest differences between them afaik: - the transmission options which you already know - if you were to get a manual XR6 the clutch isnt as good as the f6 one - the bodykit & interior - rims and brake options

Rta Ideas For 2010
I wonder what % of the road toll is caused by high speed pursuits? As you said, it sounds nice but won't do anything - if you're up to 10 years + a pursuit law wont be an issue. The traffic penalties are way out of step with our criminal punishments anyway. You can do some skids and get your car impounded even if it was a deserted industrial area late at night but if I get pissed and go out and bash an innocent bystander I'll probably get a good behaviour bond, maybe some community service.

Who Is Up For A Wakefield Park Track Day?
I have done about 1:17-18 there at my only track day in a totally stock BF2 sedan, only changed brake fluid and pads. 1:13 sounds like an awesome time, what did you have done? Also how are you timing at the speed off the streets days? I found the ZF really good, I actually just left it in sports auto mode so I could concentrate on learning the track and it was always in the right gear (mostly 2nd-3rd). It did go into fun police mode and made me do a cool down lap/half lap a couple of times after about 5 laps later in the day. I don't think ill be ready for another track day until may/june but it would be good to get out there with a few other T's. I'd like to have swaybars done and flush the brake fluid again first.

T 400, Btr, C4
The BTR is the 4speed BA box. t400 and c series boxes are tough and are usually built (manualised, high stall) for drag applications. I think most of them are a 3 speed but I could be wrong. For your power level a built BTR would probably be ok, but if you're really into the drags one of the other boxes might be worth it for future use. Not really the sort of thing most people would fit to their daily though.

Ebay Tyres
You'll still need to pay for fitting and it'll cost you more if you dont buy them from the tyre shop. In the really cheap range add that to shipping and the saving might not be worth it.

Wheels & Tyres
Look at federal semis or the KU36 for a road legal semi at a decent price. I'd love to pick up some work rims for mine but I still need to decide how far im going to take the handling and braking side of things.

Stealth Fx
its been a while since I played with mine but im pretty sure the top adjustment is spring pressure which you dont really want to play with much and the body turns to change plumb back vs atmo. Also it might be worth cable tieng the trumpet to something else in case it falls off. I got an alternate one but I lost it at some stage.

Removing Cat And Dropping In A Straight Pipe?
Like anything its a risk and your odds of getting done are low, but in this case the penalty is massive - something like upto 10k. As far as I'm concerned if you can't afford 300 odd bucks for a high flow cat then you shouldn't be trying to squeeze extra power out of any car. If you choose to gut it anyway you know what you have gotten yourself into. The only reason I'd use a straight through pipe is for race fuel and you wouldnt be running that on the street unless you have some very deep pockets.

Stealth Fx
I run one on my pulsar, its a good bov and I like the fact that it is adjustable. Downside is they are a bit pricey.
