  1. What really upsets me is that 1000's of people have died from this quake - and 1000's more will continue to if they don't get help - - yet the yanks are sitting next door in iraq doing nothing.
  2. So if they don't drive at night they will be better off after the first year how?? You'll just have a lot more people that have just come off their P's driving around at night with even less experience at night driving. What about all the Kids that are out doing late shifts at Maccas/woolies/etc? Do mum and Dad have to go pick them up because they finish at 12? Bloody stupid idea if you ask me.
  3. Nigerian herbalist shot dead as anti-bullet charm fails From AFP December 18, 2003 A traditional doctor in central Nigeria has been shot dead by a patient who was testing the potency of an anti-bullet charm the herbalist had prepared for him, police told AFP on Wednesday. Ashi Terfa died when patient Umaa Akor fired a gun at his head two weeks ago in south-central Benue state, police spokesman Bode Fakeye said. "Akor went for an insurance against bullets and contacted Terfa to prepare it for him," he said. "To confirm its efficacy, the herbalist tied the charm around his neck and insisted that Akor should fire a gun at him. The experiment proved fatal for the herbalist and his skull was shattered," he added. "He died immediately". Fakeye said the suspect had appeared in court for culpable homicide, but had been release on bail. "The motive to kill could not be established against the suspect since the herbalist asked him to shoot to test the charm," he added. The belief in withcraft and charms is rife in Africa. AFP

    El Falcon

If anyone can't afford a BA - - don't bother with an AU - - stick to to EL, she is such a great car.
  12. I've always been a Ford man - - But my cars haven't all been sadly. My 1st car - Mum's 85 Barina. Was a good car to have first up because I crashed it 3 times. A 84 Camira. Needed a car on pay day so I went out with $800 and bought it - came home with $150 change even. Had it for the life of the rego (11months), never checked the oil, or the water - and didn't have a problem. My first beast - a red S pack EA. Bloody great car until some low life bas*ard decided to steal/burn it. Wasn't insured (until 24 male with 3 accidents = $$$). Worst thing was paying for it for another year after it was gone. A mid 80's Pulsar. Was a way to get around while I finished paying for the EA. Gave it away for nothing eventually. Had a bloody huge huntsman spider in it that I could never catch - scared the Sh!t out of me a lot of times. My 2nd Beast. 97 EL XR6. Bloody awesome car - - It was going to take a REALLY good car for me to trade her in.
  13. Any girls want to volunteer to see if my way works?

  15. A passenger plane travelling to California is suddenly hit with a severe engine problem and plummets into the Pacific Ocean. The impact is such that the plane is ripped apart leaving only one man alive. After hours of swimming he spies an island and drags himself up onto the sandy shores. Though he is half drowned and aware that he is thousands of miles from home, he cannot but admire the beauty of the island he has found himself on. Looking down the beach he sees a figure lying on the beach, another survivor from the crash. He runs over and sees that she is not breathing, so quickly he gives her the kiss of life. After several attempts she coughs into life. As she wipes the hair from her face he now can see who it is...it's Kylie Minogue! Forever grateful to him for saving her life, they strike up an Immediate bond, and over the following weeks, while stranded on the island, they fall madly in love. One day Kylie is walking down the beach and notices her newfound love sitting on the rocks by the beach, staring out to sea, with a look of sorrow on his face. She wanders over to him, and asks what is wrong. "Kylie," he says, "The last few weeks have been the greatest of my life. We've found this island paradise. We have all the food and water we could require, and I have you, but still I can't help feeling there's something missing." Kylie replies: "What my darling? What is it that you need? I'll do anything". "Well there is one thing. Would you mind putting on my shirt?" OK" "And my trousers?" "OK" At this point he gets up and grabs some charcoal from the ground, and draws a neat moustache on her lips. "OK... Can you start to walk around the island, and I'll set off the other way and meet you half way." "OK dear, whatever will make you happy." So off they set. After an hour walking he eventually sees her heading towards him along the beach, at which point he breaks into a sprint, runs up to her, grabs her by the shoulders and shouts: "Hey mate, you won't believe who I'm shagging!!"
