The problem I have with this is that if you restrict the type of car a younger person can drive - - they will go out and buy the cheapest car they possibly can that fit the limit. So instead of having a accident in the Falcon that Daddy bought - the driver ends up pranging a 1985 laser. My parents were in a head on about a year ago when a drugged out moron drove across a fairly main road in Canberra directly into them (VG might remember it?) They were driving 70 & he was on about 85 (for those that can't add - that's 155km/h impact). They were told that the only reason all 3 people lived was because they were driving a new family sedan (AU Falcon). If they were driving a smaller or older car (like his Datto) all three would be dead. I guess my point is - If it was my child that was driving, I would want them driving the best/safest car possible.

Only reason I ask is because of the latest topic "APS Power/Torque/Price numbers Peter, please confirm your numbers " Which almost looks like an over the top Ad (dr Z - I hope you received a free upgrade) .... It was almost sickening how far you climbed up Peter's rear on that post :banghead: I have no probs with any tuners on the site - Hey I hope to use one eventually - but when I click on the "show new posts" button - It's hard to tell if it's a "endorsed" product or not.

Just ignore our blue blood for long enough for a reality check here... Are we comparing the XR6T to the car that wooped butt in the Wheels/Motor (I can't remember which it was - they blend into one after a while) magazine race to 300km/h? Give it a break - I love my Fords, but really - it doesn't come close to Godzilla. Parts may cost more - but will any problems in 12 months with a APS Stage 3/4 or Nizpro kit be cheap? I doubt it. It's not a fair comparison at all. If we are comparing the two - can I add the car I'd buy if I had the $... Audi RS6. 0 - 100 4.3sec Bye, Bye Skyline, Bye Bye XR6T with any kit, Good luck someone in a Marinello (spelling) that's meant to be 4.1sec (isn't it RWD?).
