To put it simply - every pair of Lib/Labor effectively cancel each other. If 60 senators are evenly mixed between Liberal/Labor - really her vote is 1/15, not 1/75.

She tried as the leader of a political party and failed. This time she's running as an independent. For her to succeed all she needs to do is be elected. Whole different ball game. I never liked her, but respected that she had the balls (so to speak) to get up and say what she felt. You can't say that about many Pollies these days. Due to the whole witch hunt/prison thing - She'll probably win the seat.

If a curfew was imposed I wouldnt see it as a waste of time. It would be just like issuing any other ticket and, if the P plater was driving alone or with other P platers, would just have to make it home another way and leave the car there. I thought I'd heard that there was new legislation passed recently that said you guys couldn't just leave cars alone anymore, regardless of whether the driver has been done DUI, no licence, etc? Isn't the vehicle your responsibility after an offence has occured?

I have no probs with 12 points - but agree that double weekends are becoming a joke. My 2.2c - - I think that no seatbelt should be at least half of your points straight off. People that are stupid enough to not wear a belt are to stupid to drive on our roads.

I have not had any problems backing up my DVD's with DVD shrink over the last few months. I have Nero & DVD decrypter if that makes any difference. Don't forget guys that burning anything but your own DVD's is illegal. Not only shouldn't it be done - but mod's may not be overly happy about it being discussed.

:lol: Respect the American's - - Are you serious!! The Saudi's OWN the American's. If the Saudi's cut all ties with America, USA would be in the biggest recession in history. Billions of $$$ in American banks/Stocks would be enough before even thinking about the impact of oil.
